hip fire should be locked, i mean i don't see everyday people trying to hip fire a 50. cal sniper do you?

If i had a sniper IRL and there was a dude standing shotgun range away from me then yes, i would hipfire a sniper. Why would you hold it up to shoot somebody that close to you?

its the added weight and the ability to correctly aim the weapon while in combat. you don't see trained military personal hip firing their snipers if a target is within 10 yards they will reach for their secondary weapon most of the time. i mean are you really going to try and blind fire a sniper at a charging enemy instead of reaching for a secondary in combat?

If im already holding the sniper. Yeah, i would hip fire it. Although to be quite honest i doubt id be holding a rifle like that somewhere that someone could be charging at me so most likely if someone was close to me i would have a pistol out.
