I don't know about this. I've been testing Fabian Strategy out lately and I am kind of liking it. It performs far better up close than anywhere else, and I hesitate to try fighting at medium range. I just wish there was some more info on how it works in max ROF mode. Does the impact increase from Linear Compensator increase the already reduced impact of max ROF mode? What is the stability increase in max ROF mode? Basically, should I be taking Fabian Strategy or a decent Arminius-D/Doctrine of Passing? At least with those I have more choices on sight types, such as they are. It beats the iron sights of the Fabian. It seems like a decent gun for a door kicker Striker. I'm just not convinced about it being worth an exotic slot.

  • I have used it in pvp. It hits just as hard as other rifles when head shot ting folks. If it goes into max rof and you catch someone by surprise they are toast. Don't expect to win a two on one fight with the gun though.

  • Yeah, it gets an odd deal with the max ROF thing. Even with Crowd Control it seems like 40 bullets is too few to take out 2 people with max ROF mode. Regular rife mode, sure. 40 is above average for an AR of that ROF and impact.

See Bungie?! Some players still didn't try it or understand its logic.. 2SnazzySquid, Just try it before being convinced, man. RoF gets higher and impacts gets lower plus small magazine size and viola.. in the middle of engagement right in front of the enemy you are run out of ammo. It's typical case for this gun. Anyway this weapon is even nothing close to Tlaloc or Ace of spades.

I've been playing it for a few days now. I just don't like how it becomes a different weapon up close and we have no information on what that is, other than following the max ROF archetype. Since we lack controlled areas to test these weapons I would prefer having all the number available. Part of me will never trust "getting a feel for it". I want to be able to compare weapons without having to tell someone "go try it".

I tried to use this gun twice. Before and after 2.1.0. As many others OP who are claimed, that Fabian is not good as intended to be. I trust my feelings. And thats because i write this post. As many others OP i want give my feedback to Bungie, and i hope they summarize all negative feedbacks and do right conclusions. This gun is nothing in comparison to other exclusive exotics. You didn't find here a lot of negative feedbacks about Tlaloc or Ace of Spades. And this is a thing to think about it.
