Day one? Heck no. Roll back Fusion Rifles to vanilla. Roll all weapons except hand cannons to and FR HoWs status. Slight BD buff. Lag and glitch fix. Then we would be golden.

  • Uhh no HC's and shotguns need to go back to HoW status (minus shotpackage), Autos and fusions back to Vanillla with appropriate nerfs to Suros and Vex (no no no guys can't have those back to OP status).

  • I can't agree with that. Auto rifles in vanilla were super powerful cross map laser beams. HoW HCs were the same deal. Both were way out of their intended function. Both are much closer to where they should be now. HCs are precision close-mid tools, and they work as such. No more cross map 3 taps. So they are actually pretty damn good right now. Autos are bullet hoses and they have fair stats. Their damage needs to be slowly increased a bit, gradually, but as it is now, even some of them are damn good. Like Doctrine and Haakons archetypes.

  • Nope. Blame bad players. There are so many fun weapons in this game but people want to be try hard ToO flawless players. They don't have to overuse the MIDA Multi-tool. There are other snipers besides the 1000 yard stare. Pulse rifles are basically the same. Scouts are fair. And HCs range from alright to good at the moment.

  • hand cannons should be (on average) 3 shot kills, 2 headshots. I honestly think that things should be buffed to counter op weapons. if something strong, make others just as good to use. don't bring down weapons, bring others up, and then nerf to balance them. you can't just have nerfs...

  • sounds like a plan. though i'd be fine with bungie either nerfing the range of the high range shotguns or removing rangefinder from those shotguns. In this game, the ranges are still a tad redonkulous.

  • heres a good idea, shotguns have an effective kill range of 2 meters, and the impact drops off for every meter increase.

  • No, the range is fine it was fine before the latest nerf. All the complaints about shotguns and range have ruined a fun play style of run and gun and have led to the current boring meta.

    With how close quarters some of the maps are right now, the high range and full-auto shotguns have little to no answer right now. This may be partially due to map design but it's worth at least looking at to see if there is a way to at least make the lesser used shotties more valuable in the crucible without making shotguns totally broken.
