Bump, but remove hidden hand and unflinching on snipers, rangefinder on shotguns and explosive rounds on scout rifles from the possible perks. I primary snipe and do not use either of those perks but if they were not allowed to be reformed for it would prevent rage about the system and keep bungie from wrongly needing snipers rather than re-buffing pulse rifles again.

  • hidden hand and unflinching should be in the same column to stop it been rolled. One or the other. That is the only problematic roll I can see right now.

  • I do not feel as if there is an issue with either of those perks at this time. I had a her benevolence with those perks in year one and it was sidelined by clown carriage and surplus. I do not use the ultra high aim assist snipers anyway I prefer stillpiercer over every other sniper in the game right now.

  • I prefer unflinching and out law any day now. Hidden hand is ok but not necessary. I don'y like having my aim pulled when hard scoping or res sniping.

  • Shotguns and sidearms are still viable they simply require skill, many shotgun need abandoned them because they never had to acquire skill and when they suddenly did require skill they did not see it and begin to adapt to not bum rushing, they simply assumed they were terrible and switched to another weapon. I support a fusion rifle buff and a slight range buff to sidearms but no buff to shotguns. This is because I feel that snipers and shotguns are on a fairly even playing field, when I am killed by a sniper it is usually because I made a n00b mistake and I feel the same way with shotguns. There are times in which I do feel that they are slightly op such as Titans who skate with shotguns or atrocious head glitchers. If both of these glitches are patched I feel that snipers and shotguns are truly balanced as special weapons. Fusion rifles merely need their damage levels restored to pre-2.0. Have a nice day.

  • This require skill argument is bullshit. If you're a "skilled" player, then you should be consistently beating the scrubs in the game. If both players have a pre 2.0 shot package matador and tlw/thorn, which players is going to come out on top most of the time? It two snipers are have perfectly rolled 1000 yards, which sniper is going to win the gunfight most of the time. All these nerfs have done is snuffed out certain weapon classes and playstyles. For the most part, the scrubs are still scrubs, and the top players are still the top players.

  • I consistently out snipe hidden hand and shortgaze snipers using my stillpiercer, it is more a matter of skill than aim assist. I was out sniped only twice in 4 games against two people with 1k state with hidden hand in elimination while constantly sniping (9 sniper heaahots 1 last word kill m, 8 sniper headshots) in all of those games I only died once in each game while primary sniping two hidden hand 1k stares. This is why I can contend that a skill argument is valid. If you believe aim assist is ridiculous view the truth about aim assist by mtashed (professional player)
