Speaking of the lore, does anyone else believe that Eris is a double agent for Savathun and used us to get rid of Oryx for her to take over the hive? It would fit with her being the cunning one of the 3 sibling proto-hive.

Edited by The Muzzy98: 1/12/2016 6:17:33 PMIt is highly unlikely that Eris has any connection with Savathûn. Eris hates the Hive with all her passion, I doubt that they have any connection. If she was planning on taking over the Hive hierarchy, she would have already tried to do so.

If the Oryx: Defeated grimoire card is any indication, then some kind of conspiracy is going on with the elimination of Crota, Ir Halek, Ir Anuk, and Oryx.

Toland is the one speaking in the Oryx: Defeated card. He wants you to use your newly acquired Hive god powers to emulate him and bring him back, but to his dismay and anger, we did not take up Oryx's mantle and created a huge power vacuum.
-
Where did you see that? I want to read it.

It doesn't specifically say it's Toland, but the way of speaking implies that it is. He is speaking in the Oryx: Rebuked, Oryx: Defeated, and the King's Fall Grimoire cards.

Is Toland supposed to be a ghost or something or is he stranded somewhere or something. Otherwise, how would he know that oryx was slain?

One of the new ghost shells found in Crotas End describes the fate of Toland at the hands of the Deathsinger Ir Yut (Google - Ghost Fragment: The Hellmouth) Essentially Toland soul is in Crotas Throne World. Its not much of a stretch to assume that a warlock with the most knowledge of the Hive and their wizardry (Toland now refers to himself as a wizard) and being stuck in Oryx sons throne world wouldnt at least 'feel' some shift in power at Oryx's death
-
Never mind. I see now you were talking about a dead ghost.

Good point. Is the shell a special shell?
