Yes. It was also taught in christian churches back then. I find that odd since Jesus is one of the first people to advocate communism. You salty kids can deny all you want with your spoon fed propaganda, but there is only one way to interpret giving your excess to others and excessive wealthy people it will be harder to get into heaven. I think Russia , a heavy catholic area, did a better job of keeping to Jesus than Americans but that's just me

Communism is not volunteering your excess wealth. Forced donations are not charitable.

I did not say communism (an economic system) was that, it's Jesus's "domain". But you can say the birth of such system was helped sparked by such teachings

I can agree to the notion of those ideas coming from such teachings, but to say that Jesus advocated for Communism is taking it too far. He preached against wealth only in the sense that it was spiritually damaging. He never endorsed or advocated for any economic theories. I could actually turn that on its head and say that he advocated for Capitalism since he taught that people should give up their wealth of their own accord and capitalism allows for free economic choice. That would be pretty disingenuous, though.
