It's not a score game type so assists don't matter and therefore don't need to be shown.

Well, the amount of kills achieved by an individual player doesn't matter either. All that technically matters is that the other team is all dead, so by your logic it shouldn't show individual kills either. The point of showing the individual stats at the end is to show how each member of the team contributed to the match. Assists -blam!-ing matter.
-
No they don't matter. Really only kills and deaths do. How many kills you get matters in a ratio to how often you die. If you keep dying and only getting assists but your teammate's have more kills and less deaths then you aren't playing on the same level. Assist's don't accomplish anything but kills and deaths do.
-
If you help an ally kill an enemy then you deserve partial credit for the kill. If you and a friend were to two shot an enemy with one bullet each, him getting the second shot doesn't automatically make him more deserving of credit.
-
But if all you get is assists you don't. You need to make kills otherwise you're needing your teammate's as a crutch.
-
That's like saying in an MMO, the healer doesn't deserve credit in a boss fight because they didn't do any attacking. In a trials of osiris match, everyone who plays it religiously will tell you that revives mean everything. If one player in the team gets no kills, but revives anyone that goes down, their actions matter.
-
Revives don't mean shit if you kill the person rather than dying and leaving your teammate's to finish what you're not capable of finishing.
-
So if you were doing trials you'd abandon your teammates in favor of getting kills?
-
Yes, I would, because clearing the area to be safe for the revive is important. Also just so you know I can see your past game records and not only do you get few to no assists, few to no kills, you have a high death count and seem to either have a shitty connection or bail on matches like a bitch.
-
I've disconnected from a trials match on literally one occasion and the only time I've ever left a game intentionally is when both my teammates ditched me. I'm far from the most skilled, but I'm improving every day. I do not "bail on matches like a bitch".
-
But you aren't getting the assists you're claiming would show you're actually doing anything, you have an awful assist record. You're max in the last few games is 8 which in a game that had a total of 15 kills to win that's tiny. Clearly you aren't getting assists that anywhere near equal your deaths and if you're dying and not even getting assists than I can understand why it is that your teammate's would wonder if you were trying.
-
You know what? Screw this. I'm sick of arguing with someone that can't even spell his own name right.
-
My name is spelled correctly. It's a name so it can't be spelled incorrectly.

Edited by Dreams0fChaos: 1/11/2016 9:07:58 PMIn trials, all that matters is the wins, kills are second once you win the game. Yeah assists are good, shows you back up your team well. Doesn't matter if you loose though but still, you are that teammate that everyone undervalues a lot. And once a shit player that doesn't cover his teammates and they are dying, they will be missing you. Hang in there buddy.
