Edited by Pixel Crisis: 1/8/2016 8:39:14 PMWelcome new guardians. The main tip I can give to you is that you MUST go outside of the game to not only find information about quests / what to do (like you most likely do for other games) but also for information on simply how to play the game / find groups to raid with etc. Bungie did a terrible job with implementing tips and pop up notifications that would explain the game and tell you what to do - and many activities are not match made, so you'll need to find friends / strangers on LFG sites to play with. You'll have to do this all on your own with 3rd party websites / apps that will give you actual useful information like youtube / reddit / and occasionally these forums. http://www.destinylfg.com/ is your friend for finding other guardians to play with - use it well (there are also other LFG threads on this forum, reddit, and other websites - just not in the game). There is no in game "global" chat at the tower or anywhere else so there's no way to talk to fellow guardians in the game to get a fire team up and running. No one is sure why they did it this way, but this is how it is ... good luck out there! P.S. - Don't forget to fill in the bubbles in your skill tree when they unlock (by clicking on the skill) or it isn't active ... also select the skill tree and the gear you want to level up before turning in quests / clicking on bounties to complete them which helps to level up said gear / skills.
