What a great game this used to be. After 1200 hours or so I'm just burnt. I haven't played in a few months, so I decided to check the forums to see if there was anything new. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any new content in the works for this year which kinda stinks. In my opinion, this game went down the tubes when they ditched year one weapons and armor. They told us not to worry about our fate bringers and gjallarhorns and v.o.c. because they would be replaced by better weapons. That certainly didn't happen. They also gave bunk rewards for p.o.e and Kings fall. No elemental primary on hard mode? Don't get me wrong, I had a blast with destiny and I hope anyone starting out has as much fun as I did. Thanks for reading.

  • @conebones17 - Spot on dude. No content, im also over 1000 hours and the year 1 comment is so right. What they fail to realise is that they are not engaging people and consumers are moving away from the title, people like me and you will drop in from time to time, becasue this used to be a good game and we want to be entertained, but there is none to be had here anymore. December gave us old exotics like mida and the worst excuse for a 3 week event that doesnt even involve shooting, its a joke.

  • I cant remember the last time I played destiny. Over christmas break I bought dragon age inquisition goty and borderlands the handsome collection for 48 dollars and got fallout 4 on my birthday (November 10th) and I honestly dont think I will ever play destiny again.

  • I am honestly addicted to dragon age. I never played the ones before but I did play kingdoms of amalur which imho was better than skyrim. I find myself drawing many comparisons between da:I and koa:r. Obviously kingdoms was more action oriented on the fighting (combos existed) but it still had different skillsets and if you wanted to use a certain weapon type effectively you had to invest in that skillset. However in kingdoms you could change your class as much as you wanted and could do different class setups. Like say if you wanted a little of all three. Or you wanted to be a rogue mage. Also you didnt have a party to travel with. Dragon age is obviously more complete in story and way more areas to explore etc but I really am impressed with the game. There are some minor shortcomings but overall its phenomenal. I havent played multiplayer yet but I fid the training and it seems interesting. The best part is that you have d o much variety in playstyle. To begin you have four subclasses in each class. For the mage you have one support and three offensive subs and for warrior you have a tank support a "morale" support and two offensive subs that have one defensive skill each. For rogues you have one sneak support one trap/poison support and two offensive one melee and one range. Then each class gets a specialization choice as well. It gets difficult deciding on skills because each one serves a purpose. I have found myself using abilities I didn't use to like because against certain enemies they are super effective. I really love fallout 4 but I really wish I bought da:I last year instead of shadow of mordor. Som was great but I quickly beat it and the ending was not very impressive. I could have had so much fun but instead I got stuck with destiny until November 10th. If I knew then what I know now I would at the drop of a pin buy da:I for 60 bucks, easily, because it was well spent. I didnt buy ttk, a friend bought it for me and I still feel like it was wasted money.
