Why do you need to bring a gun around with you in the first place?
English
-
In case I'm attacked by somebody or Isis.
-
That sounds like paranoia
-
That is paranoia
-
No, it's called preparation. Its amazing how everyone here goes on about how much violence there is in the US, but when someone says they carry a gun to help protect themselves from said violence, they're a paranoid nutjob. Can't have it both ways.
-
I don't think America is violent, I think people are overly paranoid if they need a gun with them at all times. (You are comparing different groups of people) My opinion should be pretty unbiased seeing how I have lived with guns being completely legal and with them being heavily monitored.
-
Being prepared for the worst case scenario isn't being paranoid, it's having common sense.
-
It's paranoia by definition. If you believe that you aren't safe on the streets of a 1st world country unless you have a weapon designed for killing people at range you need to sort some things out in your life.
-
Whatever you say, man. If you want put yourself at the mercy of all the thugs in this country, be my guest. I for one won't end up on the 7 o'clock news for being gunned down for my wallet. Hopefully if something like that happens to you there's some paranoid nutjob that's carrying around to help you.
-
Well look out for 'Idiot doesn't give thugs wallet and was shot dead'
-
So I'm an idiot for wanting to protect myself? Holy shit this country is in the can. Like I said before, you go on be naive and believe you're safe at all times and live in wonderland, and I'll actually protect my family and myself here in the real world. We'll see who lasts longer.
-
Well look out for 'Idiot doesn't give thugs wallet and was shot dead'
That was in response to your comment on it being a news story, sorry it upset you.
-
Nah it's rational.
-
Where do you live where a terrorist group based in the Middle East kill people regularly and what are you doing to get attacked?
-
I'm from Texas man Peer pressure
