I've played with SmoggyPluto before, I'll tell you, that bro deserves it. He's always got his teammates back. He'll jump in there when your taking fire. Literally took multiple bullets for me. One time I lost my dog and he found it for me. He lent me money when I was behind on bills. Taught me how to change a tire.
Honestly I can't think of anyone who deserves the gjallahorn more.
It made me laugh, as did the response to it.
So I figured I'd post it so we could all share our stories of this legendary guardian.
Smoggy, we salute you.
Edit: Loving the response so far, keep them coming guardians.
I wonder if/when Smoggy will see this? What would he say?

I was searching for Xur and my search lead me into the bar. I couldn't belive my eyes when I read his name. I had heard the legends of a guardian who had already became legend. As I approached he must have sensed my light and excitement. Without looking up from the table he said, "Please, don't make a scene, I would much rather lay low for the moment." I inquired why he was hiding, and he beckoned me to sit with him. I walked over and I could not fathom what I saw. He sat there, and was playing with a small Vex abomination! The mechanical serpent slithered between his fingers and it's three heads mechanically growled playfully as Smoggy gently tustled with the monster. I couldn't believe it, Smoggy was a traitor to the tower, even brought an agent of darkness into the tower! In disgust, and rage I drew my Pecidillo's Grace with the intent to destroy this threat to humanity, and afterwards, I knew I would he slain by Smoggy. But, I would try to bring him to justice. It was my duty to try. As I unholstered my weapon, Smoggy responded with a wave of his hand. Before I could take aim, my handcannon had dismantled in my hands, and I was left holding twenty-three glimmer. And he spoke, "Wait." The sudden flurry of movement startled the creature and it turned to me. I saw the eyes of the middle head begin to glow, and it's stare locked onto me. All at once I was on my knees. I could feel my light slipping away, being drawn out of me by the Vex aberration, and I knew my death was not far away. Or it would have been, but Smoggy quickly and punitively smacked the creature in the head whose gaze was fixed to me. And all at once my strength was restored and the Vex serpent coiled up, seemingly embarrassed with its bad behavior. Smoggy then fixed his gaze on me and said, "Now listen won't ya? Before I have to dismantle your entire inventory. This little guy means more to the fate the human race than either of us, and I'll make sure he's isn't hurt. I'm here after a meeting with the speaker, and we've already decided what's to happen to him." I could not speak, only listen in amazement as he continued. "Your going to shut the hell up, and not tell anyone about myself, or little Xylar being here isn't that right?" I could only nod. "Now," he continued, "I'm going to be heading to Venus soon, and I suppose, nearly killing you is enough of a reason to give you an explanation of what's going on. You see, this little guy has an amazing ability to feed on the strength of any creature, and amazingly, it's friendly towards the light! Deep inside the Vault of Glass, sits a monstrous Vex with power unimaginable. One day, the guardians will challenge the monster Atheon, and on that day all Guardians will be destroyed. Our first attempt at Atheon's life ended in disaster, and Iost Kabr, my closest friend. But, Xylar, will be our answer! I'm going to hide him in Atheon's throne room, and let him drain away the awesome strength of that Vex lord, and maybe, just maybe, it will be enough to let a raid team defeat him." With that, Smoggy took to his feet and headed toward the shipyard. The last I heard was, "Xylar is very shy, and I imagine no raid team will actually ever meet him. But if they do, I can only hope that they do not anger him. He will grow incredibly powerful feasting on Atheon. And although he is friendly towards the light, as you can see, he will not hesitate to defend himself. I pray for any guardian who challenges him." And then he was gone, and I have never seen him, or the Vex serpent since.
