The only thing faster than the speed of light is the expansion of the Universe itself. Did you know that the Universe will soon expand so quickly that light can never actually reach us because it'll die out or something before reaching us, and given billion or trillion years the only star or planets we'd be able to see is in our own Solar System?

  • But we'll all be dead so it doesn't matter. Also there's one problem with you statement; our sun won't last us another 5 billion years. In about 7.5 billion years the Andromeda galaxy will collide with ours though. Should be an interesting sight.

    Yeah, I forgot about the sun dying. And you're right about the galaxies colliding, it's making a beeline for us. Should be cool if anything else exists around that time that can be able to see it.
