Just goes to show you the people they are targeting are small minded easily intimidated young kids. Problem is that they severely underestimate the community who supported this game initially. Now the remaining community has turned toxic and remains divided over almost every topic regarding this game.

The warring in the community gives them a window to do what they want. They can either say that the things they do are requested by [a small part] of the community, legitimizing them, or they can assume we aren't paying attention and are sheeple and just do what they want. I've seen both at play.
