They're keeping things non religious. That being said no one would be offended by a Santa Hat.

  • I hardly would say bungie is keeping things non when the game has all sorts of religious themes in it already. The reality is most people are hypocrites and they just don't want anything bible related in the game or to be exact anything that would remind them of the bible in the game. However doxology, gods, trials of OSIRIS, and it's use of Egyptians gods in armor, festival of the lost closely following that of Halloween.

  • Festival of the lost was to represent the lost guardians. I do understand the Osiris part. I think they're trying to stay away from the mass majority of religion.

  • Would have been nice had it not resembled Halloween which is about the dead walking the earth and setting out food to keep the spirits or dead and gods from doing evil to you... No difference festival of the lost is nothing more than Halloween. Jackolyte, changing respawn to bats, and trick r treating in the tower, and wearing mask....

  • I believe that our events can resemble real life things, but they are strongly trying to stay away from the religious side of things.
