MIDA NERF CONFIRMED IN 2016 UPDATE
The last good primary has finally fallen victim to pvp's archenemy: scrubs calling for nerfs.
It's a sad day for Destiny pvp. A moment of silence as we mourn. :'(

Glad this isn't real. The weapon isn't OP it's just overused. They need to make adjustments to other things to make them competitive.

1 ReplyThe nerf isn't because the weapon is over powered or give the player an advantage, its because MIDA is over used. Bungie stated way back when they want weapon variety. This nerf is to limit MIDA and even weapon usage. In my opinion, they should nerf and Buff weapons without making a statement to prevent bandwagon users and force players to find their own niche weapons

Then year 2 brought scouts that perform shitty in pvp and suddenly a returning year 1 is going to be nerfed? Buff other scouts, not nerf Mida. Edit: just clicked the links, ya got me. I still believe it will be nerfed however. Crybabies get everything nerfed. Someday they'll want the Imprecation nerfed.

Well, Bungie doesn't know how to balance, sans a nerf and we all know that. I'd say you guys also have yourselves to blame. I'm obviously not referring to everyone but to those folks who seem to gravitate to any new meta like moths to a flame. Anyone who isn't seeing a shit-ton of MIDA in PvP these days is blind or fooling themselves. I don't think that warrants a nerf but we all know Bungie does. Next time some gun becomes the new black, try having a modicum of creativity and come up with your own stuff. I freaking suck at PvP and barely ever play it. I still keep a 1kd, using strange loadouts and whatever I feel like using at the time. I am quite sure most of you PvP studs would fare much better, doing the same thing. In short, Bungie wants Destiny to be a casual PvP experience, as shown by their penchant for nerfs. When you guys are all using the same weapons and trying to he hardcores, stomping in pubs with all the current popular weapons, don't surprised when Bungie does what they do...nerf the shit out of it.
