Hey Bungie, where is the BAN hammer for the Lag Switch Cheaters in PvP?
there are still cheaters using lag switch....Bungie are you even taking care of this problem?!
these guys make Crucible and especially Trial of Osiris unberable...
What's the point of playing in a contest full of cheaters?!
Why those guys are not banned from playing PvP ?!
Every -blam!-ing day I play, I report cheaters with their bad connections, what is it for?!
how come that you comunicate so much on what weapons the community is using but no word on how many poeple you banned?!

3 RepliesI strongly agree this has happened to me multiple times today I was 7-0 and my fire team were at match point when the lag kicked in and they pulled the game back without a struggle. I'm not jumping to conclusions I just feel it is highly possible that this is a case of cheating and I think that "cheaters" should have there accounts temporarily suspended and if reported multiple times after the suspension should be banned from pvp game modes for a couple of months at a time

10 RepliesThe truth is, that while many of these people are indeed lag switching a great deal of them simply have crappy connections and are getting an advantage because of it. Lag is an issue with any online game, but it is worse in Destiny than any other game I've ever played and that includes other P2P games like CoD and Battlefield. I bought Destiny for PVE AND PVE, but here we are 15 months later and the lag is just as bad as it ever was, yet Bungie still has nothing to say about it. If it continues to be a problem in Destiny 2 I'll just leave the Destiny franchise behind and never look back.

8 RepliesEither way, cheater or just bad connection, it is no wonder player count seems to be dropping. It is also understandable when you see "__________ has left the game" followed by "____________ has left the game" a few more times. Gotta love pumping head shot after head shot into someone & they take literally no damage... The other side to that, when you get DC'd, and one of their past "fixes" was to contact your ISP... thx Bungie, this game is literally the only one I have that does this crap, but it is our connections that is to blame...

2 RepliesI thought trials was supposed to be free of bad connections, at least in its concept. As far as cheaters with the lag switches..... well, you can tell who they are because they are green bar until the match starts. There has got to be a way that destiny or bungie can see these people. I report them every time. But there seems to be no consequence

1 ReplyIn some of my experiences, I think some people will lagswitch to cover up their use of an invincibility mod. The few times I shoot them and it does manage to register, it would sometimes read "immune'. As in they were hit but the game recognized them as impossible to take damage.

6 RepliesDo you even stop and think that maybe, just maybe, it is genuine lag. I mean, we ALL know how laggy the servers are, yet always play the 'lag switching' card. Also, so you realise not everyone in the world has top tier Internet and it's not their fault? I mean, we pay for Internet from a company, not our fault if their service cannot match those in other countries.

1 ReplyWhat's Bungie ' official position on p2p reporting? I report every lag switcher (you know the ones -- they only red bar at opportune times) as bad connection. Does anything ever happen? Surely Bungie could tell when people's connection is fine in tower/orbit/pve and then grinds to a halt in pvp?

6 RepliesToday's [b]iron banner [/b] has been a typical example of those expending cheaters. It's becoming [b]unplayable[/b]. UN-PLAY-ABLE. Iron Banner is a none event for my team. In the middle of a game, we were crushing it - Then opposing team started lagging (using a switch), teleporting and we were unable to kill them. And the end of the game, their connection were green again and they laughed at us. Another game some opponent are "immune". Like SuperFayaChonc, we all reported them as cheaters, but its seems it's completely useless. We somehow lost faith in this system. We've created a Clan with trusted, nice, moral people and what's our solution ??? Cheat ? No way !! Find another game ? We all love destiny for what's good at !! How Frustrating !! Dear Bungie, you have a bunch of good players and we just want to have ONE Normal competitive PVP game. Too bad you can't achieve this. Maybe someday. OPS Central
