"Pretty accurate".
Sure they were.
.... Did you notice they were dodging them though, which should have been possible before the nerf, but basically wasn't? :I
The hammer is not a damn grenade. You should have to predict where they're going and land almost directly on them to get a kill, with some slight leeway offered by AoE. SLIGHT, not great. Think of it like a tradeoff- Golden Gun is accurate, but only gets three shots. Hammer of Sol is not as accurate, but gets more than three.

Well actually the sunbreaker is suppose to be hard to kill and have an ok blast radius, the NERF made the blast radius smaller than the gallahorn grenades and the damage smaller than if you got hit with a pebble, making people with a high defense stat take one hammer directly and live to tell the tale, it was overpowered but was hit too hard

Remove the aim assist from GG, give it a slow bullet travel time, make you fire it from 3rd person and it will hit either above or below the crosshair based on distance to target. Double the amount of shots you get to 6 and the duration by 50% to make it "fair". I'll see you in 24 hours when you are crying to have it put back the way it was as you now cant hit a damn thing! Hammers need to hit like bombs, you are wrong.
-
They do not need to hit like bombs. There's even a tracking perk for a reason. HoS can be used a lot like one would use Lance Nova Bomb- jump in the air, throw hammers DOWN on people. Most people don't expect hammers to come from above, which deadens reaction time and thus allows for better accuracy. Plus, if you're throwing it at them from above, that takes out one of the directions they're even able to dodge. Yea, hammers need an AoE I feel, but the OP is, to me, whining about his own bad accuracy. There were few instances in that video in which the targets were actually close enough that it should validate a kill. GRanted, yes, THERE WERE SOME when he should have gotten a kill but didn't, but that's more likely due to latency in the same way melee attacks sometimes completely whiff despite practically standing on a person.

No dude, you dont know what you are talking about, this class is built ENTIRELY around its super, look at its perk tree. It isnt as easy as you think aiming those hammers and pre-nerf jumping around was a legit tactic for dodging hammers, now its easy mode. The only ones he might have "missed" were the third one he threw at the lock that should have already been dead anyway and the hunter he threw at after that. Everyone keeps comparing this to GG but its not GG as GG has super easy aim mode, stays in FPS, has no travel time and insta kills if you scratch them.
-
You mean turn it into sunbreaker? That would be cool! I main a hunter and like sunbreaker.
-
You would miss anything that was further than ten feet from you, imagine a slow projectile scorch cannon.
-
Also you get 10 more seconds to aim than goldie
-
People run & escape in those 10 seconds

You have Titan skating

I main titan and I agree with u

Like I said before, you can only get as accurate as you can with the hammers. They are effected by gravity, they have travel time (which was increased with the nerf), a direct hit is not easy. It's doable but it's harder than you might think, not to mention that's its almost impossible to hit someone directly when he has bllink/shadestep/twilight garrison. This is no Golden Gun, it's not a insta-kill lazer beam. To make up for that we need that blast radius otherwise people can counter these hammers just by sprinting and jumping which is absurd since it's a godamn SUPER you should feel SUPER!
-
Agree entirely but its not just that, the class is built ENTIRELY around its super so if the super sucks pretty much the entire class is worthless, at least in PVP that is anyway.
-
So bassicly take the downfall's of Nova bomb (travel time, arches trajectory) and mix them with a Golden Gun (need to be directly on point) and call it balanced? We're not asking for a seventh column medal every hammer throw. But as we have drawbacks to the super as it is, getting it to be "close enough" (which in the videos they were, minus a few throws) should net a kill.
-
Hahaha exactly what they want. Worse of both worlds mixed into 1 super.
