I have a minor suggestion that you stop making events come and go.....
By this i mean trials of osiris, Iron banner & the new sparrow racing
What you as an awesome development team need to realise is that we want content we dont like doing strikes to fill in the time waiting for these events to come back round... thats why we go play other games, if you want to keep us interested.... make these events permanent and simply change it up every now and again
And why not reboot past content..... VOG Was beautifully designed... Have some mini mission where you discover the taken have reanimated the past inhabitants and you have the option to get a fire-team and redo vault on the new level 40 difficulty.
And how hard can this be for prison of elders? its as simple as adding in a new difficulty.....
When the new year comes around you are going to be dipping straight back into activations bank account to market destiny 2 or some other dlc for this game and yes most of us will buy it..... but will your current game survive till then?

Reboot old raids, yes (there is still hard version gear that was cut from vanilla to add back in). Your "temporary content" definition is slightly flawed. Trials and IB are permanent, just on a rotating basis (especially Trials). The purpose of rotating events like FotL is to bring players back for some time to do something new. Every game has them. As for SRL, Bungie said "the community decides if we keep it," meaning it can come back to stay. Right now it is just a preview. Now, I agree they need to add more stuff between now and September, but I wouldn't go as far as having tiny things weekly. Rather have big things monthly.
