Blast Radius of HoS is a F'ing joke!

Yeah, the blast radius of the hammers are a -blam!-ing joke in its current state. I made a 5min video showing clips of how weak the hammers have become and how inconsistent they are. You think I'm bullshiting? Just watch the video and you will see what I'm talking about. This is not me crying, I want CONSISTENT! If i hit someone with a hammer I want a kill in return, I wanted to be rewarded for being accurate not punished. Just make the Blast radius of the hammer i bit bigger and it will solve itself. Edit1: For the people saying: "Golden Gun has no blast radius and kills on impact, so HoS needs to kill on impact too". Difference between HoS and GG: GG: insta-kill lazer beam with a big ass hitbox (almost impossible to miss) in 1st person (very easy to aim) with 0 travel time and unlimited range (in PvP) HoS: Has travel time (which was increased with 2.1), effected by gravity, doesn't go in a straight line, 3rd person aim (which can be very awkward) HoS works basicly like a rocket, you can get as accurate as you can with them. Do you expect from a rocket to kill someone only if it directly impacts them? I'm not saying that the hammers should have the same power as a rocket (not by a longshot), but when I throw a hammer right next to/in front of the enemy I except to get a kill. Not to mention that it is almost impossible to hit a player who uses blink/shadestep/twilight garrison. So yeah we need a little blast radius buff to make this super CONSISTENT again, because right now its the most inconsistent super in the game along with arcblade. And even when you land a DIRECT hit, it fails to kill the player which is very sad.   • "It exploded in the air, so it must have hit him".... lol what idiotic logic.... no there is prox det on the hammers and he avoided the direct impact by jumping... when you actually hit him dead on, you killed him.

    • I loved Sunbreakers how they were before the nerf and it seemed a good thing that it was a strong Titan subclass because in the Taken King trailers, they always portrayed Sunbreakers as this amazing and powerful subclass. Nerfing Sunbreakers was slightly needed after the Iron Banner showed they were pretty hard to kill when using their HoS, but Bungie went way overboard in the nerf. Not even joking, Sunbreakers are practically [u]useless[/u] right now.

Oh well, titans will only have to wait five months before DeeJ acknowledges the fact that Sunbros are nigh useless. Ugh...

            • *Same with blade dancers hit detection will not work if the enemy guardian is in air. You can hit them and they will just float away. *Rockets do not kill players after the "reviving guardian" gets the revive on his team member.

            • Let's Face the truth, Bungie never nerf/Buff the right way, If it isn't Over-Buffed,it's over-nerfed, HoS used to dominate Crucible, And after the patch, they are just trash,and i strongly doubt that Bungie will Buff Titans again, so what we can do is just switch to Hunters/ Warlocks,because they get the good stuff and never gets nerfed ;)

              • Lag. Simple as that. Lag. SRL has been killing pvp lobbies. But once again, the forums are soaked with these posts. I wish they would just give everything back, then I won't have to hear it anymore. I say give everything back to every class and weapon.

              • I used to be on the train that said HoS needed a nerf, and while that was the case, based on your evidence I would also agree that the blast radius should be ever so slightly bigger. Definitely not where it was, but certainly should be a bit bigger. Although some of those looked a bit like lag was involved somehow, and some were blatant misses, there were certainly some that should have been kills

                • Agree! Bungie -blam!-ed up the sunbreaker! You can't use it anymore! Completely Agree! And all becouse of the gay hunters and warlocks winning like litle kids! And probably i will get the tipical replays: huuy..., titans are the ones complaining.. Or look at the stats!

                    • You show the same 2 clips over and over again where there is clearly an issue with the game. HoS works normally 99% of the time. Hardly justification for a buff. What you successfully show is how frustrating this game can be with all the hit detection issues and lag. It's hard to tell what the problem is here but it could be any number of things. Just buggy and annoying, it is currently affecting many class abilities

                    • The hammers are still very strong. From the looks of it your just throwing your hammers like before without even aiming. There was one or two hits that should of killed them, but it could be a lag issue and not a hammer issue. I have seen a titan recently go on a 6 kill streak with his hammers, popping two people at a time with one hammer, including myself. They are very much still very strong. You just can throw them wildly as shown in the video and get the kill like it once was. Which is fantastic cause its still bullshit titans get 5 nova bombs. Now if they buff the blast radius cause people like you complain about it.. I hope they do just that, but bring your hammers down to 3 throws instead of 5. Making you actually aim at people.
