Yeah, the blast radius of the hammers are a -blam!-ing joke in its current state. I made a 5min video showing clips of how weak the hammers have become and how inconsistent they are. You think I'm bullshiting? Just watch the video and you will see what I'm talking about. This is not me crying, I want CONSISTENT! If i hit someone with a hammer I want a kill in return, I wanted to be rewarded for being accurate not punished. Just make the Blast radius of the hammer i bit bigger and it will solve itself.

For the people saying: "Golden Gun has no blast radius and kills on impact, so HoS needs to kill on impact too".
Difference between HoS and GG:
GG: insta-kill lazer beam with a big ass hitbox (almost impossible to miss) in 1st person (very easy to aim) with 0 travel time and unlimited range (in PvP)
HoS: Has travel time (which was increased with 2.1), effected by gravity, doesn't go in a straight line, 3rd person aim (which can be very awkward)
HoS works basicly like a rocket, you can get as accurate as you can with them. Do you expect from a rocket to kill someone only if it directly impacts them? I'm not saying that the hammers should have the same power as a rocket (not by a longshot), but when I throw a hammer right next to/in front of the enemy I except to get a kill. Not to mention that it is almost impossible to hit a player who uses blink/shadestep/twilight garrison. So yeah we need a little blast radius buff to make this super CONSISTENT again, because right now its the most inconsistent super in the game along with arcblade.

2 Replies[b][i][u]SUNBREAKERS[/u][/i][/b] Here's what we know; Pre nerf this super was over powered because of its amount of starting health. It's was a mere 5% to high to be one shorted by snipers (not counting spindle). Some also brought up that the super lasted longer than most supers (Accept stormtrance) Post nerf all the Titans are complaining (including myself even though I run striker) The hammers are either not registering or are just not dealing damage at their anticipated range. Cauterize still works and they are able to be 1 shoted. Now what went wrong with the nerf is a matter of opinion. The aiming mechanics (in my opinion) is broken. The hitbox is to small and the damage is terrible. However the overall health is great. What's you opinion? Post down here. Don't be afraid to criticize if I made a mistake or an incorrect about something.

I've lost hope with this community. When the HoS has a problem, everyone immediately insults each other on their high chairs. Constantly comparing HoS to GG when they are two completely different supers, might as well compare Stormcaller to Arc Blade. And the instant blame on lag or unskilled really shows what this community is full of. I've lost my faith in this community, and nothing they can do now can change that.

5 RepliesGG is a laser? I'm pretty sure some dude made a montage wearing a twilight garrison dodging all kinds of GG shots. Also some were extremely close, so the hit box isn't as big as you think.

Okay then actually learn to hit then, some of those hammer were over 20ft. away from a target and the guy you killed on rift was clearly lagging (seeing the delay between the killing blow till death). No buff required for hammer of sol, it's still one of the best if not the best super. You should try bladedancer and see how broken the autoaim on arc blade currently is before you start complaining about sunbreaker. In trials last week I literally missed another hunter that was stuck in a corner 5 times because he used single jumps.

As someone mentioned in another post, bungie tweaked the radius for HoS, but forgot to proportionally adjust the when a hammer will explode. This causes the hammer to blow up and the targeted guardian to not be in the kill zone, even when the guardian would have been hit directly.

8 RepliesMaybe if you hit the ppl with the hammers it would kill them. You shouldn't be rewarded for hitting the area around your target. It doesn't work that way with the bow so why should it with hammers?
