Blast Radius of HoS is a F'ing joke!

Yeah, the blast radius of the hammers are a -blam!-ing joke in its current state. I made a 5min video showing clips of how weak the hammers have become and how inconsistent they are. You think I'm bullshiting? Just watch the video and you will see what I'm talking about. This is not me crying, I want CONSISTENT! If i hit someone with a hammer I want a kill in return, I wanted to be rewarded for being accurate not punished. Just make the Blast radius of the hammer i bit bigger and it will solve itself. Edit1: For the people saying: "Golden Gun has no blast radius and kills on impact, so HoS needs to kill on impact too". Difference between HoS and GG: GG: insta-kill lazer beam with a big ass hitbox (almost impossible to miss) in 1st person (very easy to aim) with 0 travel time and unlimited range (in PvP) HoS: Has travel time (which was increased with 2.1), effected by gravity, doesn't go in a straight line, 3rd person aim (which can be very awkward) HoS works basicly like a rocket, you can get as accurate as you can with them. Do you expect from a rocket to kill someone only if it directly impacts them? I'm not saying that the hammers should have the same power as a rocket (not by a longshot), but when I throw a hammer right next to/in front of the enemy I except to get a kill. Not to mention that it is almost impossible to hit a player who uses blink/shadestep/twilight garrison. So yeah we need a little blast radius buff to make this super CONSISTENT again, because right now its the most inconsistent super in the game along with arcblade. And even when you land a DIRECT hit, it fails to kill the player which is very sad.     • This is truly devastating for sunbreakers. If anything, that cautarize perk should regen health only on melee or grenade kill and not while super is activated. That would have brought the whole crying for nerf down a bit. That to me would be more balanced. Now the flame seeker perk, I never noticed the tracking like it said it does. If anything it was only a tiny bit but still required a direct hit from the hammer. Blast radius and hammer travel time was really unnecessary. The only thing like I said needed balance was the cautarize perk and the armor down.

        • For a class that has no perks whatsoever outside its super except health regen on melee and grenade kills the only thing they should have touched was the damage resistance. People get one chance to team shoot or snipe you and if they fail it's over, much like blade dancer.

Bungie has nerfed Sunbreakers into the ground harder than they did the original AR nerf, even Vanilla Thorn was more powerful than this crap. Like... What the -blam!- is this shit Bungie?!

        • It's not useable anymore. You're better off not using your super because you won't call attention to yourself and you'll actually be able to defend yourself.

            • That looks a bit too harsh. Sadly it will not likely be buffed. Nerfed the blade dancer too much and well, that was that. I've always used GG. Hope they leave that alone, but we shall see. Destiny 2 will hopefully be a bit better. I still love destiny but have been playing SW Battlefront for last few weeks. I'm on a break till more DLC or D2 comes out.

              • Dude as a player who has over 310 for all 3 classes, Life is good right now. I think the patch improved the class overall and I can still wreck people with sun breaker post patch. It just now requires a direct hit (or close to it). It took the hit it deserved to line up all the PVP K/D's. It's now fair, can be killed, but still is one of the best 1v3 trials pvp options out there. I watched your video but honestly those were just clips of you missing. I've gotten 5 or 6 down consistently when I hit my targets. Every class has hit detection issues sometimes, blade, nova, lightning sometimes you rush the enemy with your hands out and no lightning (the worst) hahaha Before, the meta was to just run from HoS, that shouldn't be the case for a super. Now, you only run if the player is good. Much like every other super. Also, I can now dome you with my sniper right when you call it. So the days of running are in the past praise the Lord. The class is solid overall so people complaining about the nuetral game.. Don't have one. Fusion grenade, cauterize, strong melee with improved range, hover is still quick as crap and you can titan skate the map like a boss. My trials K/d with this beast is like 1.6 Just don't whine about it, it's in the sweet spot and takes talent to use like every other class. I play all 9 and for once they feel about even. The skill lies in the player, and that makes the game that much more fun.

                    • They should keep the reduced damage reduction and cool down on cauterize to make it more viable to challenge 1v1. But literally every other change they made during the nerf should be reversed.

                      • This is the same thing people have been saying about Arc Blade for a long time. Arc Blade has been nerfed into uselessness since patch 2.0, and it's stayed that way ever since. Bad hit detection and lag is a serious problem with Destiny, and it's heavily affecting the current meta.

                          • Honestly, after the way you guys defended the blatant OP HoS you guys deserve to have your class be shit for awhile. You guys whined and got Arc Blade nerfed (It needed it though) and now its literally unusable.
