Yeah, the blast radius of the hammers are a -blam!-ing joke in its current state. I made a 5min video showing clips of how weak the hammers have become and how inconsistent they are. You think I'm bullshiting? Just watch the video and you will see what I'm talking about. This is not me crying, I want CONSISTENT! If i hit someone with a hammer I want a kill in return, I wanted to be rewarded for being accurate not punished. Just make the Blast radius of the hammer i bit bigger and it will solve itself.

For the people saying: "Golden Gun has no blast radius and kills on impact, so HoS needs to kill on impact too".
Difference between HoS and GG:
GG: insta-kill lazer beam with a big ass hitbox (almost impossible to miss) in 1st person (very easy to aim) with 0 travel time and unlimited range (in PvP)
HoS: Has travel time (which was increased with 2.1), effected by gravity, doesn't go in a straight line, 3rd person aim (which can be very awkward)
HoS works basicly like a rocket, you can get as accurate as you can with them. Do you expect from a rocket to kill someone only if it directly impacts them? I'm not saying that the hammers should have the same power as a rocket (not by a longshot), but when I throw a hammer right next to/in front of the enemy I except to get a kill. Not to mention that it is almost impossible to hit a player who uses blink/shadestep/twilight garrison. So yeah we need a little blast radius buff to make this super CONSISTENT again, because right now its the most inconsistent super in the game along with arcblade.
And even when you land a DIRECT hit, it fails to kill the player which is very sad. Clink link below for another clip of how inconsistent the super is:

Keep giving links to videos where a hammer should but didnt kill the target, Bungie needs to adress this.

For those who are saying the hammer didn't hit the warlock in that xbox clip. Kindly look at the wall, see how there isn't a mark. If the hammer hit the wall there would be a little explosion mark there. It hit that warlock dead in the back and didn't kill him. Some super :D. Now titans have 2 sub classes, 1 that can get kills like a super.

I guess they made an other mistake in their weekly update - they said HoS blast radius got nerfed by 20%, obviously they meant 200%.

Or jumping 50 feet in the air and a FoH which slams the ground hits you in the air. No way to dodge it. Hammers and Blades can be avoided (rarely but it does happen especially if your a sick sniper which i am not) and nova bombs and radiance can be avoided but the FoH is ridiculous.

I watched my 12 year old brother get a triple recently with HoS, he only didn't get more because everyone else ran away. I was on defender and got hit directly by a hammer a few different times and survived almost every time.

I don't mind the explosion thing so much... I did get melted earlier by a guy using his primary I'm pretty sure and that shocked me. I need more time with it. Nerfed definitely but still netted me around 3 kills per super in rumble which isn't bad at all.

The problem I've noticex is the proximity and the blast radius interfere with each other now. So many times, I've thrown a hammer right at someone's face. But the proximity detonation makes the explode early, but at the distance the hammer explodes, the blast radius isn't enough to kill the target. In simple terms, hammer explodes before it hits target, explosion not big enough to kill target.
