Hello, I'm just here to voice my opinion. So please here me out before you say anything back. I do believe why your trying to suggest this idea. But if we could infuse year one weapons so we could use them in year two. We would run into the same problem we had in House of Wolves. People would mainly use the OP year one weapons such as Fatebringer and G-horn in Pve and with the handcannon buff in the latest update SPECIFICALLY ON THORN. Then PvP would be in chaos once again. I hope you understand my opinion and I understand yours aswell. I just believe that if we had year one legendary weapons in year two. The game would lose its whole point of grinding for gear and RNG.

Well they could just make good year two guns to balance that out cause they've failed w year two guns so far
-
Sure, as long as they get rid of the primary weapon burns and leave black hammer behind, I'll be all for it.

I see what you are saying, but year 2 has already become pointless for many. The raid just isn't worth doing imo and any piece of content can be done with a scout, 1000 yd, and sword or any heavy. I'm at 311 light and don't have much of a drive to go much further. I'm enjoying sparrow racing and logging in to shoot stuff or a few quests here and there but I just don't play nearly as much as I did in year 1 and the weapons just aren't that much fun to use. No diversity really. Year one weapons were just fun to use. How many people would run through all ttk content again with a ghorn just to blow everything up with it? I would. It would energize the player base.

Yep, and I think its entirely safe to say a large fraction of the player base needs to be re-energized at the moment.
