Honestly.....
when i got bored enough one day i started reading my Grimore cards....
And now Dead Orbit is my Least favorite faction....
but...
I have one of each character, each with their own Faction....
but....
Dead Orbit is on my Main.
Seriously though..... Future War cult.
Doesn't matter if we defend Earth, or run from it..... there's gonna be more war.
FWC will help.
FWC will be ready.

Edited by Patriot121: 12/17/2015 6:06:08 PMI honestly have a problem with all the factions. I like FWC, but the whole "army of cultists" things is a bit of a turn off. Honestly the whole "cult" thing is my biggest problem with Osiris as well, despite him probably being a far more honest and reliable source than the Speaker. But with regards to FWC, I'll take a super dedicated army to help defend the City and reclaim the solar system any day. I'd rather them just stay part of the Vanguard, but I'll take what I can get. Besides, their machine could be really useful in the future. Dead Orbit are a little pessimistic and unrealistic for my tastes. I respect where they're coming from, but I don't believe it's physically possible to outrun the darkness. But hey, in the mean time they have a large fleet that they regularly use to help provide intelligence to the Vanguard amongst other useful things. Remember the Array? Where Rasputin reclaimed control over numerous defense systems across the system? Originally a Dead Orbit Op before their team died and we took over. New Monarchy though, screw these guys. Read the 7 tenets and you'll see what I mean.

It's all a matter of perspective. Don't think just because Dead Orbit understands the solar system is lost that they're not ready to fight. FWC to me are war fanatics, they're literally cultists, worshipping a machine that they don't understand. They eagerly line up to drink the cool aid (die fighting) Dead Orbit sees things for what they are though. They understand what we face, and they understand that yes there will be a war. It is inevitable, but that war will lead us to our destruction, and if not for Dead Orbit literally salvaging an entire fleet of ships we'd all die. It's almost homage to A Tale of Two Cities, is it better to die fighting or live on your knees. Obviously the analogy it's imperfect, as all analogies are, but you get the point. Dead Orbit is Best Orbit

One of the ghosts for NTTE even shows their fleet escaping after the tower is destroyed and FWC knows that it is a possible future
