My SRL rank is 2 anyways so I don't know why your acting like I'm nothing compared to you that one rank difference xD. On top of that we both have the same skill when it comes to the SRL if anything you should be agreeing with him too. He's just simly saying that there is no reason to race because if the rewards are random then its pointless, unlike crucible and nightfall (which you can't compare those two activities with nightfall because nightfall doesn't involve rank position).

And to be fair, I like the idea of wins for better rewards, but I think it should be in a separate championship mode like Trials of Osiris.
