Game development, means a game can develop into something else. When I was in high school I wanted to be a teacher. I told people that was what I was doing with my life. But life changed when I got married and had a child, so I became a retail store manager.
My family and friends don't berate me or talk shit on Facebook because I told them I was going to be a teacher before.
My family and friends don't berate me or talk shit on Facebook because I told them I was going to be a teacher before.
I'm trying really, really hard not to lmao Destiny was hyped SO MUCH by Bungie, even right before it's release. I bought it brand spanking new for 60 bucks, popped it in, and finished the campaign in a few hours with a friend the first night. We were both so confused. Wait.. is that it? We destroyed the heart? What the -blam!- is next? Who is that lady who gave us that shitty gun? WHAT THE -blam!-? I then gave them more of my money in hopes of more and better content but alas, I was a fool. They scammed me for 2 more DLC packages and then paywall blocked me from playing shit I was already playing when TTK dropped. I will never buy TTK and I will never ever give them any of my money ever again. Sold that POS to some poor sap for 10 bucks. -blam!- you bungie. Sorry, rant over.

Hey there Rip Van Winkle.
-
I'm not Dutch. Ghosts did visit me in the mountains once though.
-
They don't berate you because you're a human being... you're supposed to change. This is a game... it was supposed to be as advertised. I see your point, but it's just not the same.
-
I never saw a paid advertisement saying walk to that mountain. They revealed the game at a game show a year before it came out. You are an unreasonable baby to even think this way. What would it bring to the game? If it doesn't make sense game play wise then there is zero point in it. Keep crying about it all you want, you bought the game and paid for the dlc. Your fault. Your fault. Your fault. Your fault. 4x your fault. Keep buying the dlc and sucking your thumbs over a mountain.
-
Who the hell said anything about mountains?! Lmao!!! You're a bit off, I see. I won't feed this troll anymore. Lol... scrub
-
The original post and every subsequent post under mine the mountain was the basis of the lie told to us all. I'm sorry you lack the mental capacity to even be aware of the topic you are commenting on. Smh such stupid..
-
You didn't sell them your teaching job.
-
You didn't have to buy destiny.
-
You're right. I didn't have to buy Destiny. Still, don't you think it's a little bit unethical to advertise one thing but do something completely different (It's called false advertisement)?
-
That's not what they did. They showed off a game IN DEVELOPMENT over a year before it released. Don't you think it's a little childish to expect nothing to ever change when creating something?
-
To change a little. Sure. To make major story revisions a year before release and cut a HUGE amount of content due to time constraints or whatever you believe ( Some people think they did it on purpose so they could sell it as DLC). No. I don't think it's childish to expect the game to stay true to form in some ways. Basically if you say "Anything you see here you can explore" and you cut that from the game you should tell the consumers.
-
Well go cry in your bathroom over the way someone who thought up, built, paid MILLIONS of dollars to create, continues to update, made concessions so not to exclude the last Gen systems, and still take care of with balancing issues, etc. You go cry about how you did not get to walk to a fukkin mountain k
-
The person who made the story is gone, Joseph Staten, he left Bungie a year before launch because they wanted to gut his story. Also, don't try and portray Activision's investment into Destiny as an act of passion. They did it to make money, plain and simple. Finally, if you plan to insult me I'll leave you with this quote from the great Mr. Spock. Spock: Reverting to name calling suggests that you are defensive, and therefore, find my opinion valid.
-
Trek yourself before you wreck yourself!!! Go Spock!
-
You have even bought emotes and sparrows. Why are you here crying on about they are making money and don't care? You are feeding the machine, and complain in the same vain. Hilarious. Simply hilarious.
-
Never said I hated the game man. Never complained that someone was making money. I love this game, and that's why I criticize it. This all started when you made the decision to try and defend Bungie and the development process. If you want this game to improve, you need to criticize Bungie, not defend their mistakes. I still support this game, that's why I bought the TTK and emotes. (I didn't buy the sparrow though. Earned that from completing the quest.)
-
Critiquing is fine. Criticizing is childish. You make zero valid points and complain to complain. Enjoy it thumbsucker.
-
I refer to Mr. Spock for my defense.
-
I'll refer to you throwing a fit about how they only care about money. And the fact that you paid 10 bucks for one dance move. I don't think you know what you want to complain about, you just know that you want to. Spock is dead.
-
You paid for it. If you don't like consumerism move to Cuba. You are mad because someone made money. You paid for all the dlc after you didn't get to walk to a mountain. You are the only idiot I see here. You did t like something but continued to pay for it. That is idiocy. Congrats. You are the product of your own failings .

Like advertising a large pizza with ten different toppings on it, then when you buy it you get a medium with six toppings. It may be a good pizza, but it's neither what we wanted nor were promised. Even worse, it's the same price as what was advertised, and if you want the missing four toppings and an upsize to a large pizza, they expect you to pay over twice the price you originally spent. Good news though, so long as you stay in the restaurant you get free drink refills and unlimited access to all the available condiments!
-
Exactly. The pizza place would be sued for false advertising. Right now the gaming industry isn't regulated like a normal consumer market so Bungie can get away with false advertising. Maybe in a decade or so the government will step and force another regulation on the industry like they did with the ESRB ratings. Until then, Bungie can get away with things like the vidocs.
-
So why did you, and so many others with the same opinion buy the DLC? Seems illogical, for people who felt lied to with the original game, people who are disappointed with the game, or straight up don't like it. Seems illogical to give Bungie an extra 60-80 bucks if that's your opinion. With a buisness, you're supposed to speak with your wallet. Paying a company for something you're dissapointed with in the first place seems....dumb at best.

Edited by MusicCityTitan: 12/15/2015 4:03:33 PMActually they do. They just dont do it to your face. Everyone is disappointed in you. We need more teachers, not retail managers...
Scrub, git gud... ;P
