Boss Themed Ghost Shells

[b]OP Comments:[/b] Thank you all for the support and feedback we've had on this post so far! I never expected it to be trending. The suggestions are also awesome and further feedback will be appreciated and maybe some of the folks over at Bungie could see this, who knows, they may even consider it ;) Changes to "overpowered" shells have been made. With the Taken King it is no surprise that we are getting an abundance of new ghost shells, but why not give us an incentive to revisit and encounter some of the older bosses from Destiny and actually get something worthwhile from killing the boss themselves, I present my list of Ghost Shell suggestions along with the perks that they would provide, the choice perks being the ones that the individual must decide on which they want to use. The appearance of these ghost shells will be similar to that of the boss, for example, the Sepiks Ghost Shell will transform the outer layer of the ghost in the purple shell of a servitor and will glow purple. These perks would not be set in stone, if Bungie were ever to implement these ideas, i'd image they would decide the perks, my chosen perks are just for people to visualize the sort of benefits they would have and how it would add more incentive to these old encounters. Also, please [b]feel free to suggest your own[/b] changes to the perks and even [b]come up with your own[/b]. [b]SEPIKS PRIME:[/b] [spoiler][b]Appearance:[/b] The outer shell of the ghost is replaced with that of a servitor and glows purple. [b]Base Perks:[/b] -Find more Glimmer from Fallen. -Replace Blink sfx and trail with Sepik's teleport particle effect and sound. -More super energy from killing Servitors. [b]Choice Perk-[/b] -Killing enemies increases recovery by 5% for 4 seconds (Stacks up to x5/25%) -Increase Armour by 10% for each Guardian ally within 8 metres.[/spoiler] [b]PHOGOTH:[/b] [spoiler][b]Appearance:[/b] The outer shell of the ghost is replaced with the eye of an ogre and pulses. [b]Base Perks:[/b] -Find more Glimmer from Hive. -Any Void damage you deal is increased by 10% -More super energy from killing Ogres. [b]Choice Perk[/b] -Decrease Agility by 10% but increase armour by 20% -Taking fall damage will send targets within 3-8 metres off balance (Depending on damage taken)[/spoiler] [b]NEXUS MIND:[/b] [spoiler][b]Appearance:[/b] The top half of the shell is replaced with the top area of a hydra with the sub-sections underneath the ghost's eye. [b]Base Perks:[/b] -Find more Glimmer from Vex. -More super energy from killing Minotaurs and Hydras. -You take 10% less damage from Void damage. [b]Choice Perk-[/b] -Increased Blast radius for all explosives. -Small Chance for a round to not be used when firing.[/spoiler] [b]AKSOR, ARCHON PRIEST:[/b] [spoiler][b]Appearance:[/b] The outer shell is now yellow and has the raised parts of Aksor's helmet on top of the shell. [b]Base Perks:[/b] -*Increase Ghost Dialouge by 50% -Find more Glimmer from Fallen. -More Super energy from killing Captains. -Increase Solar damage by 10% [b]Choice Perk-[/b] (Applies in PvE only) -Slightly Increase Shotgun Range and Reload -Slightly Increase Shotgun Impact and RoF[/spoiler] [b]VALUS T'AURC:[/b] [spoiler][b]Appearance:[/b] The outer shell appears a silver color and has armor plates and rivets placed on it, the back of the ghost features the same banners carried by the commander. [b]Base Perks:[/b] -Find more Glimmer from Cabal. -Increase Armour by 10% -More super energy from killing Centurions and Collosuses. [b]Choice Perk-[/b] -Increase fire rate of Machine guns by 20% -Chance of firing two rockets rather than one.[/spoiler] [b]OMNIGUL[/b] [spoiler][b]Appearance:[/b] The outer shell of the ghost with the shell of omnigul's head. [b]Base Perks:[/b] -Find more Glimmer from Hive. -More Super Energy from Hive Wizards. -Emit a shriek and Suppress enemies within 5 metres when you fall into Low Health (Can Only occur every 30 Seconds) [b]Choice Perk-[/b] -Increase Arc Damage dealt by 10% -Decrease Arc Damage taken by 10%[/spoiler] [b]TANIKS[/b] [spoiler][b]Appearance:[/b] The outer shell of the ghost is a dark red and has multiple yellow glowing eyes in the center, the top of Taniks' helmet is present on the top of the ghost shell. [b]Base Perks:[/b] -Find more Glimmer from Fallen -More Super Energy from Fallen Majors -Carry an extra Rocket in reserve. [b]Choice Perk-[/b] -Increase Blast Radius and Reload speed for Rocket Launchers. -Increase Fire Rate and Velocity for Rocket Launchers.[/spoiler] ------------------- [b]RAID GHOST SHELLS[/b] ------------------- [b]ATHEON[/b] [spoiler][b]Appearance:[/b] The spikes around atheon's head is present on the back and top of the shell, the outer shell will also feature many sources of light that glow. [b]Base Perks:[/b] -Find more Glimmer from Vex -More Super Energy from Vex Majors -Increase Damage dealt in Time's Vengeance. -Decrease Void Damage taken. -Double Damage dealt to Oracles. [b]Choice Perk-[/b] -Increase Ability Recharge Rate -Replace Jump with Blink (Any Subclass)[/spoiler] [b]CROTA[/b] [spoiler][b]Appearance:[/b] The outer shell of the ghost is replaced the shape of Crota's head and a dark green and black energy is emitted. [b]Base Perks:[/b] -Find more Glimmer from Hive -More Super Energy from Hive Majors. -Increase Damage dealt while Swordbearing. -Double Damage dealt to Hive Swordbearers. -Increase Melee Damage. [b]Choice Perk-[/b] -Heavily decreased damage taken for 5 seconds after being revived -Killing an enemy will apply a burn to the same enemy type within 4 meters[/spoiler] ------------------- [b]COMMUNITY SUGGESTIONS:[/b] ------------------- [b]Skolas - Noel the Kell[/b] [spoiler]Appearance: Color- blue/white. Has a wolves cloak on the back of it. Has two horns on it and one is broken. [b]Base Perks:[/b] -More glimmer from fallen enemies. -More super energy from all fallen targets. -Double ammunition with scorch cannons. -Increased scorch cannon blast radius. -If the wielder is killed, his killer will be marked by devouring essence, dealing damage for a few ticks. [b]Choice Perk:[/b] -Increase Armor for each target killed with a Solar Heavy Weapon for a number of seconds (Stacks up to 5 times) -Increased Damage output for all solar heavy weapons.[/spoiler] [b]Gorgon - Beanerage[/b] [spoiler][b]Appearance:[/b] Ghost shell is spaced out slightly further from the eye and when you summon vehicle or begin to return to orbit, the shell will open up and the glowing streams will flail around the outer shell. The eye in the center will glow white. [b]Base Perks:[/b] -Glimmer drops from all enemies inside the Vault of Glass. -You make no noise while in the Gorgon's Labyrinth. (Making traversing the maze much easier) -Increased super energy from Harpies and Supplicants. [b]Choice Perk:[/b] -If the person with this shell is killed, the creature that killed it will also die with them. (Does not work on Majors, Ultras, or other players) -Slightly increased Armor after being Revived for a minute.[/spoiler] [b]Riksis, Devil Archon - Riksis[/b] [spoiler][b]Appearance:[/b] The ghost's outside is beige and dark red and the ghost's eye is replaced with four small light blue eyes. [b]Base Perks: [/b] -Increased Glimmer while fighting Fallen. -More Super Energy from Fallen Dregs and Vandals. -At low health, emit a shock-wave similar to Fallen Bosses that damages enemies around you. [b]Choice Perks: [/b] -Increase to all stats from Scout Rifle kills for 7 seconds. -Increased Scout Rifle Damage by 5%. [/spoiler] [b]Unique Upgrade Methods - HELLJUMPER[/b] [quote]Maybe if it's like you get one, you need to [b]upgrade it in specific ways[/b]. Like a hive one could be [b]kill 1000 hive[/b] with [b]void damage[/b], and that would get [b]one of the perks[/b]. The next could be [b]kill 50 wizards or kill Crota a few times[/b]. Then it would need to [b]be worked for[/b].[/quote] [b]Urrox, Flame Prince - ayMan77[/b] [spoiler][b]Appearance:[/b] Ghost looks brown, rusted, and is lit on fire [b]Base Perk:[/b ]-Increase Glimmer dropped by Hive -More Super energy from killing Hive Knights -Every bullet/rocket you fire has a 1/10 chance of penetrating through the Knight's Wall of Darkness [b]Choice Perk:[/b] - Increase chance of perk above from 1/10 to 1/6 - When you kill a Hive Knight, the area in a 50m radius from you will be lit on fire for 7 seconds, damaging all nearby enemies greatly, but your allies too, if they get in the radius. Recharge time of 1 minute. [/spoiler] [b]The Templar - ayMan77[/b] [spoiler][b]Appearance:[/b] Looks just like a regular Ghost, except it has a shield surrounding it, similar to the Templars. This shield makes you unable to get a hitmarker on your own Ghost. [b]Base Perk:[/b] -Increase Glimmer drop by Vex, in our out the VoG -Deal triple damage at Oracles in the Templar's Well -More super energy from killing Vex Hydras [b]Choice Perk:[/b] -If you hit a Hydras eye three times in a row, the third bullet will blind it for 7 seconds (30 seconds recharge, does not work with Ultras) -The Templars shield will stay down for 20% longer as long as you are present within the fireteam.[/spoiler] [b]Trials of Osiris Shell - ayMan77[/b] Perks changed by OP [spoiler][b]Awarded for getting to the Lighthouse[/b] [b]Appearance:[/b] Ghost is yellow and black [b]Base Perks:[/b] -Increased legendary drop rate for legendaries while competing in Trials. -Ability to use a Single boon twice, per scorecard. -Every Trials game you win you get Passage Coins depending on how many rounds you won by (5-1 win would give you 4 Coins) [b]Choice Perks[/b] -Supers last for 10% longer (if time is a factor) -Supers take 5% less time to recharge[/spoiler] Skolas and Trials implementation suggested by - PI3 PUPPY Let's hope the Strike specific rewards they are bringing in consist of some shells :D
