Nope. 17 quintillion planets of bullshit, pointlessness, mediocre planetary graphics, and no story. I'm sorry wbut I'm supposed to be hype that I'm exploring an endless universe of absolutely nothing?

Clearly it isn't a game for you, you don't get it.

He gets it...but not interested.
-
Sure doesn't seem like he gets it.
-
He does. We all do. But like him ill pass. If i could take a friend exploring. ..I'd be down
-
You can, except the game is so massive the odds of you encountering another player is extremely low.

You can become a Trader(full blown universe economy), Being a pirate, being an explorer (you get rewarded for discovering and naming planets, life forms, etc.). You can become a mercenary, defending factions from pirates and other hostile forces to the point that you can build up reputation to the point were you can summon wingmen to assist you. You can customize ships, your multi tool, and your space suit. There's a wanted level system similar to GTA and with that there's the intergalactic police ( Sentinels) to contend with. It's basically journey meets GTA in space with elite dangerous

Im going to be a pirate and hope someone comes by in this infinite Galaxy. ......

Edited by TechyWizard: 12/14/2015 8:17:48 AMWell, it's a game about exploration. The content is the almost endless amount of unique planets, with their own unique environments and wildlife. The game is about endless hours of exploration, not story. And the graphics are pretty good for a game of that size. Don't you find the unknown enthralling and exciting?
fixed typo
Yes but I like it with premise and point. If you went out in the universe to explore you would have an agenda. In this you find shit just to find shit take what you need from the planet and just leave to find new shit. It just makes no sense to me. Maybe if the game gave you the slightest idea as to why you even do anything then I'd like it but just to be like. OK imma take a space ship and go -blam!- shit up where ever I want and name an alien species dickmonsterarius because haha everyone will think it's funny. I only see everything that can go wrong in that game XD and am I the only one that thinks that with sll these planets there are gunna be alot of planets with a certain type of fish and on the next planet those same fish will be there but just pallet swapped XD

Maybe this just isn't your kind of game. I do hear your concerns about reusing old models with just a small change. But from what I've been told, everything will be procedurally generated by the computer, so the developers don't really have any way to prevent from happening. But I'm sure that problem won't be very common, since everything is procedural.

This is my type of game. I like star citizen way better. Sadly it's a pc only game.

I guess we'll just have to see how it fares once it's released.
