My first thoughts were that he was the speaker. If I recall, the speaker was a Titan. The guy was there since the start, "haunted by stories never told" or whatever it said almost seems like a reference to the speaker's ramblings during one of the cutscenes. "I could tell you..." Also questioning whether or not Rezyl was a God, maybe as the speaker, some people see him as such. Maybe he sees himself as such and that's why he's spreading God's word when no one else can hear it. He might believe himself to be all powerful and is actually spreading his own message under the guise of the traveller's. Who knows, there may well be lore out there that shuts that theory down, but that was my first thought.

  • I've always thought of the Speaker as a Warlock, especially from his message to Osiris in the Osiris card. It all comes down to if Rezyl is Awoken or not, because the Speaker is

  • Play the mission with the Speaker cutscene and turn up the brightness. You can see under his mask a tiny bit and he looks Awoken

  • For some reason I had it in my head that the speaker was confirmed a Titan. I can't remember what made me think it and Google isn't helping me. Maybe I'm going insane? Either way, I'm gonna go with saying that my theory is still plausible, but only 1/3rd as plausible as I originally thought hahaha
