After a Crucible match has been called people still try to kill each other, so why is it that as soon as they cross the finish line people hit the brakes and wait it out? Might as well do something interesting while waiting for the timer.
-
Why? What would you benefit from it? Nothing, might as well sit there while nothing happens.

Well most of the time when I race myself and the other racers stop and do doughnuts and emotes honk horns. If someone was drafting me the whole time and was a good opponent I'll give a congratulatory points emote to that racer. I wish they allowed some more emote while on a sparrow.
-
I spend that time flipping other players' Sparrow casually and watching them blow up. Then I run over their body, stop, reverse over their body, and repeat. Sometimes I strafe over their body to flip it over around the finish line.

Honestly, I wish I could get off and walk around in third person.
-
I stop so I can "point" out all the people who spent money on these silly events. "Shame , Shame....."
-
1 ReplyBecause the race is boring. What's more boring than sparrow racing? Driving around sparrows for no reason.

Edited by OLDBOYvicious: 12/10/2015 5:51:25 AMQuestion: Why do people stop at the end of a race? Answer: Because if you stopped at the beginning of a race, you'd never win.

I think my horn as I flip people so they die

Kills after the clock count.

Cause you can't kill anyone after the race, you've already finished so why keep going.
-
so i can stop and gloat
-
1 ReplyI horn and make a tune lol
-
I usually dance at the end of a crucible match, or do doughnuts in srl
-
I blast around in a circle lol
-
I don't stop...I start going backwards across the exploding line again and again. Or if I happen to be in a i don't give a fk mood I'll stop right before the finish line and do circles until 1sec then cross.
-
You haven't been in a game where everyone stops, then starts trying to tip each other over to kill the other people? Or ride on top of them, I don't believe there is a term for sparrow-bagging yet, but as a community I'm sure we can find something that works.
-
I stop so I can honk at people and try to push them backwards across the finish line so they die. I also find an odd satisfaction out of honking relentlessly while i point at people
-
You just said it yourself with that last sentence
-
We have horns to beep at each other.
-
So you can honk at each other and ramp off of their sparrows

1 ReplyBecause gates don't activate and the most you'll get from continuing is +1 trick.
