To paraphrase a famous political debate quip:
I played Wipeout. Wipeout was one of my favorite racing franchises of all time. Destiny, you are no Wipeout.
It's blatantly obvious they are trying to copy every element of Wipeout except for the vehicle weapons. The logos, the design, the courses, all smack of a poor copy of another property. Which is fitting, I suppose, since the entirety of Destiny has been nothing more than copies of successful and quasi-successful elements of other games, all thrown into a pot and sold with a bunch of hype.
I hadn't played the game for damn near two months, popped in, played a few races and left again. A year ago, we were about to get a full DLC with a new raid, new strikes, new enemies, new gear. This time, we get a sh*tty knockoff of a game that was better last gen. Meanwhile, FAST Racing Neo comes out for WiiU - WiiU! - on Friday and that will be better in every conceivable way (and it's by a freggin' indie dev).
