It was probably just the noobish group I was with, but I won a race with only 44-45 hits
I really sucked in that race lol
-
I've one races while having 10-25 less gate hots than the guy behind me and lost by the same margin its all about the invisible walls on turns if you bump ot a little you can get 100 hits and still lose.
-
You dont -need- to hit gates... well not alot anyway. Just certain ones while taking a clean line through turns.
-
Yeah, but 44 is just too low for my taste lol
-
No you wont. This kind of garbage negativity needs to stop. You can go from last to first with a good line and catching a boost at the right time. I have been chewed up and blown up by Mars Fans and still charged to the front on the last lap for the win.

Ha sure keep dreamin kid. . . I've been first the entire race and one bump on a turn and I'm doing 12 flips and my sparrow is not supposed to flip. I die and when I come to the race has been over for a month and a half.

I guess the appropriate response is, "Git gud scrub"
-
Oh I'm "gud" enough to win the "glitchiness" of invisible walls is a barrier I've had to scale far too many times.

You must be the only one. Maybe get rid of that 1990 dial-up modem? There are certain obstacles placed in each map that will wreck you... dont hit those. And if you are having trouble passing someone and you keep bumping them while trying to hit gates, wait until you have a straight shot to the next gate and hit "A" on your controller. It will give you the needed space to hit that gate.
-
But I can't afford anything besides dial-up where am I supposed to put the cord besides the phone jack? I don't bump into people ever I'm always ahead by 3-5 seconds and if anything no matter how small -blam!-s up it's over the dream is dead the cake is a lie.
