[BUNGIE] Sparrow Racing League Vital Information
With Patch 2.1.0, [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/pub/sparrowracing]Sparrow Racing League[/url] is available to all Destiny: The Taken King Players.
This event introduces the new PvP activity Sparrow Racing and the new Sparrow Horn item type. It also includes new Sparrows, Gear sets, Quests, and [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=14062]new items in Eververse Trading Co[/url]. The Sparrow Racing themed activities, Quests, and non-Legendary quality Sparrow Horns will no longer be available after the event concludes on December 29th.

Please Note:
•Players must have Destiny: The Taken King and be at least Level 5 to participate in the Sparrow Racing League activity.
•Rare quality Sparrow Horns will become unusable after the Sparrow Racing League event ends, but will not be removed from player's Inventories. Players can manually discard these items from their Inventory.
•Legendary Sparrow Horns will remain useable after the Sparrow Racing League event ends.
•Sparrow Racing League Quests and Bounties cannot be completed after the event ends. Bounties can be discarded from the player Inventory and Quests can be sent to the Abandoned Quest kiosk.
Please note: The Sony Console Exclusive Quest “With Finesse and Speed” can be completed after the event ends.
• Please ensure that the active character has ample Gear slots, Inventory space, or Postmaster space before opening Sparrow Racing League packages, such as the Racer’s Toolkit faction package, or the Mystery Bag items purchased from Eververse Trading Co., such as Sparrow Toolkits.
• Bungie is aware that players using Hair Trigger features on controllers are not able to initiate a full Sparrow boost. If possible, please disable this feature.
• Excluding the default "Happy Horn", Sparrow Horns cannot be re-acquired through Collections or through Eververse Trading Co. if dismantled. Please use caution when dismantling items, as they cannot be replaced.

The middle perk tree for arm pieces is glitched. I have two legendary arms that I started upgrading yesterday, but the top middle perk (fastball) appears as not upgraded and won't let me unlock it. Whenever I finish a crucible game or sparrow race it says that the perk is unlocked, but then when I inspect it there is no green bar around it and I can't equip it. This is happening on both of the legendary arms that I have. Plantain papi is being unfriendly to others and exploiting his stolen dlc gear, he is saying that he stole it/ hacked it and is worth banning or having the gear removed from his characters or having his character destroyed for how he is treating people in the chat below. Bungie please try to punish the people that are blatantly bragging about their stolen gear.

Require the logbook to wear the gear simple solution or refund those getting ripped off because we paid for this and people got it free by stealing

Found a bug on venus race that could maybe also happen on mars race. In a race I go through a blind bomb and the effect that normally disapear stays. It didn't leave until I left my sparrow. Then I go through an other blind bomb and same thing, i had to die again. It stops after the next lap. Don't know if it happens to different people but in the second blind bomb, after my respawn I saw someone going everywhere but not in the good way. I suppose it was the same for this guy. Could be a real challenge but mmmmmh, not sure than better to be fix. Thanks.

8 RepliesI bought the record book for my Titan and have been using it with him, yet I just got the momentum helmet and it's for a hunter? Hunter gear has no use and I'd like the gear for my Titan. There's no point in me spending 1000 silver to get gear I can't use.

7 RepliesWhen I race I stay at a constant speed off 90 while everyone else is in the mid 100s and yes I hit gates and don't -blam!- up on the track but yet I'm in last and have tried changing sparrows but still the same problem, if anyone has any suggestions I'm open for them

I don't even know what hair trigger means. I have a stock controller and on some of my sparrows I cannot boost, just brake.

Bungie I accidentally dismantled my momentum helmet. Please give me a method to buy it back even if it's the marks I got for it. Too many racing helmets lead to bad things

So with the new update you guys changed a few things one of them involved the iron banner ghost shell. I'm sorry but it kinda ticks me off that I worked my rear off to get a "green" iron shell and not a "red" thing. Kinda pisses me off and would be nice if things did not keep getting f##### with!. Thanks for your time :) and have a Merry Christmas :)

This oversight regarding the $10 records book is unacceptable, and I assume-- at least, I [i]hope[/i]-- that there will be some form of compensation for any of your users who paid actual money for that content. I would guess that an actual refund is out of the cards due to the convoluted way it would need to be done through four different consoles, however, free silver to make up for it would be a way to encourage users to try more content while also proving that spending money on silver in the future won't be a terrible decision.

17 Replies#Bungie @bungie im using my ravensteel sparrow in SRL and its averadge speed is 90 I can hit about 120-130 when u go through gates my friends are telling me they get almost 190 With there ravensteel what is happening I can't even complete a race without get a DNF please help me so I actually can compete in the SRL!

4 RepliesAlso, shaders aren't working properly on some of the legs and arm peices. They just stay unshaded and blip the colour of the shader around the belt area then go back to the default color. So yeah, that's a thing.

Bungie, I want my money or my silver or something worth 10 bucks for the oversight with the SLR record book. The fact that people can just walk up and inspect the book at Tess shop without every buying the book is angering. This is about the last straw with this game. I and many many others have invested in you and this game only to time and time again get scammed. You need to do something about this NOW
