[BUNGIE] Sparrow Racing League Vital Information
With Patch 2.1.0, [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/pub/sparrowracing]Sparrow Racing League[/url] is available to all Destiny: The Taken King Players.
This event introduces the new PvP activity Sparrow Racing and the new Sparrow Horn item type. It also includes new Sparrows, Gear sets, Quests, and [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=14062]new items in Eververse Trading Co[/url]. The Sparrow Racing themed activities, Quests, and non-Legendary quality Sparrow Horns will no longer be available after the event concludes on December 29th.

Please Note:
•Players must have Destiny: The Taken King and be at least Level 5 to participate in the Sparrow Racing League activity.
•Rare quality Sparrow Horns will become unusable after the Sparrow Racing League event ends, but will not be removed from player's Inventories. Players can manually discard these items from their Inventory.
•Legendary Sparrow Horns will remain useable after the Sparrow Racing League event ends.
•Sparrow Racing League Quests and Bounties cannot be completed after the event ends. Bounties can be discarded from the player Inventory and Quests can be sent to the Abandoned Quest kiosk.
Please note: The Sony Console Exclusive Quest “With Finesse and Speed” can be completed after the event ends.
• Please ensure that the active character has ample Gear slots, Inventory space, or Postmaster space before opening Sparrow Racing League packages, such as the Racer’s Toolkit faction package, or the Mystery Bag items purchased from Eververse Trading Co., such as Sparrow Toolkits.
• Bungie is aware that players using Hair Trigger features on controllers are not able to initiate a full Sparrow boost. If possible, please disable this feature.
• Excluding the default "Happy Horn", Sparrow Horns cannot be re-acquired through Collections or through Eververse Trading Co. if dismantled. Please use caution when dismantling items, as they cannot be replaced.

When I just tried to buy the record book it wouldn't let me buy more silver. Then it also wouldn't let me take a screenshot of the error message. So, so glitchy. I'm a sucker for racing stuff so I'll buy it I guess eventually, but wow for the $140+ I've put in since day 1 I feel it should probably be FREE.

Bungie has finally acknowledged the log book glitch on Twitter - about time but of course as people have pointed out, damage is already done, money already exchanged hands and a lot of people already have the gear. What I'm concerned about now is what kind of compensation they're proposing for people who actually paid as there was an expectation of exclusivity to those of us who shelled out money for exclusive items. I'm not a bungie hater and I've supported destiny for a very long time and I have no problem paying extra for something I think is unique (Although too many gaming companies are exploiting this kind of dlc for little return), but this is unacceptable. In order for trust to be reestablished, there must be some sort of compensation.

I would just like to know what will happen with the people that paid for the SRL record book. Will we be reimbursed for the book? with our silver back. Since there are now a bunch of people just using it to get free items. Or will we get something else free? Ie other rare boxes to get items? Due to there is a lot of emotions tied to this issue. This is a blemish on something that was a very neat and cool idea that got implemented in the game. It actually brought me back to it from the other better games?(battlefront,Fallout 4 LOL) this holiday season. Now this is a turn off for me. Due to I gave you my money and there are people getting this for free. Please update ASAP.

Deleted my momentum guard helmet for my hunter is there anyway to get it back? The book says "Some rewards may be viewed and reclaimed at any time from the associated kiosk in the Tower." Not sure what kiosk any of the items would be at.

8 RepliesCan we get some sort of reply about the exploit of the SRL book? This is a huge flaw in the system, and it has who knows how many upset about. (including me) For I and all those others who bought the SRL book should receive some kind of compensation, or we will stay out of buying silver in the future if [b][u]it can't be trustworthy. [/u][/b] Could a Bungie member acknowledge that they at least know about this issue?
