as someone who mained titan since day one, i think these changes are complete rubbish. where were these nerfs when hunters were wreaking havoc? All of the hunters that used to have 3.0 k/ds are just butt hurt that titans had a fighting chance now and dropped their k/d to 2.0. I hate when random internet whining causes major changes that are unwarranted. If anying, more buffs need to happen to defender and striker and leave solar alone.

  • It took a while but them adding Stormcaller and Sunbreaker was a way for the other classes to have a more PvP oriented subclasses. Hunters got the nightstalker for PVE because they were basically terrible at it until then. Took way too long, sure, but that's what happened and we can't really change it. Hunters did get a slight nerf to a few abilities around the release of TTK, but they weren't nearly as broken as Titans like myself were with Sunbreaker. It was justified, and they didn't nerf it into the ground, all is fair mate.

  • i can agree maybe some nerfs were needed but not that extreme everyone whines because boo hoo hammers have too much range and cauterize heals too much and they too tanky i should be able to one shot with a sniper. hammers have the same range as GG, name any class that should be one shot with a sniper, when it comes to tankyness they are no more tanky then a bladedancer or sunsinger, plus it can be oneshot with nova bomb and have super removed with tether. hammers have to have alittle range because they move slow as Blam compared to other super classes like bladedancer and sithlord. but people dont think this out they just whine and cry and eventually bungie bends over and gives them what they want

  • I am fine with them being able to be sniped down. I feel that any mobile super type should be like that. We all know that a resurrecting warlock can be put back in the grave easily enough, and with practice people can even gun down a bladedancer with a shotty or a well placed sniper round. I have learned the hard way that an arc warlock is also able to be sniped down at full health while in sith lord mode. So basically, as long as a Titan is able to be taken out by this method or similar hard hitting tactics then I feel it is fair.

  • I think they should have reduced the time of the super down to maybe 20-25 seconds, right now it's 35, and reduced the armor so you can one shot headshot with a high impact sniper.

  • Your joking right? Their tankiness is far beyond that of a bladedancer or stormcaller. I can one shot those with a GG or even a sniper. A Sunbreaker ruined PvP. They are fine now. You can still do good as one so stop bitching. Our complaints were warranted.

  • But it should not take two golden gun shots to kill them, especially considering golden gun gets no armor, no move speed, only has three shots, and has a very short duration comparatively.

    Actually since the emergence of the Sunbreaker, the Titans became more prevalent within the Crucible. As for ruining the Crucible, Cheaters and Laggers have already done that not a specific class. i.e Sunbreaker or otherwise. Also I can't count how many times I was taken out as a Sunbreaker by either a Warlock or Hunter by any of their subclasses.

  • Yeah a Sunbreaker can be beaten before this update, but it needed to be teamshot to die if no super was used to counter it. I think this nerf simply puts it in the same killable range as the other mobile supers currently are.

  • And that's exactly how it SHOULD be... either use your -blam!-ing super to counter a super or get help from team mates. It should abso--blam!-ing-lutely NEVER be "oh I can counter this guys super by myself without using my own super".

  • Except that nearly all the time you die as well. Golden Gun takes two shots and you'll probably die from the hammers. Blade dancer doesnt have enough arm or damage to stop the ranged hammer, storm callers are pretty obvious and will get killed on their way there. Nova bomb and strikers are the only supers that could really counter it. And yes you should at least have a chance to kill anyone in a super by yourself

  • I feel that is ok with one shot supers like Novas and FoH supers. But if you need to run like hell from a mobile super then it is simply too good. It does not have to be so weak that you can take it down with a primary, but for the love of god if you shot a rocket at it then that person should die. So likewise if you have enough skill to place a high impact sniper round into their skull then they should drop. Most mobile supers are really good at dodging around the place anyway so it is tricky enough to put a sniper round in them like that.
