7 Billion Grunts - Community Challenge *Update 8* WE DIDI IT!!!!!
I would like to challenge the Halo players of the world to help us reach this number,

I think 10 billion is honestly do-able with firefight an everything.

Its not like the community has a choice to participate people. If you play Firefight,you're part of the challenge. And 3 Billion over 2 year span (CAMPAIGN ONLY) 4 Billion more, but with a mode that you could kill over 200 (low number in my opinion) a day? EDIT: Recalculating 289 days 3,314,097,786 Grunts to kill 11,467,466 A DAY Just needed to clarify this real quick. Jake92 played one game of Firefight on Normal and got 32 grunt kills. In one firefight session, we don't even know how long that is. So if you have thousands of people playing, it'll easily be accomplished. If you still dont think this can be accomplished.. 616,290 unique Halo 3 players have logged on today. Take ODST and all the pre-orders and the online buzz.. I'd say we could get 200,000 people. So if we take those 200,000 people, and they get 10 grunt kills in a match, thats 2 million. How many matches do you think can be played in a day? How many grunts do you think on average will be killed a match? If we get 200,000 people to kill 200 grunts a day.. that is 40 million. It will take 42 days. So half the amount of people. That is 84 days. So half the kill amount to 100 That is 168 days. Do you think that only 100,000 people will play firefight, and only 100 grunts a person will get killed? I sure dont. Does ODST firefight count? Bonus round features a lot of Grunts apparently.

We have to kill about 13,000,000 Grunts a day. So far today, about 2,500,00 Grunts have been killed. Looks like we have to increase our Grunt slaughtering by a factor of about 5. I see you are saying Grunt Infantry [i]and[/i] Grunt Specialists.
