So I was thinking if there was a way to "fix" faction rep being earned.
First remember that the most efficient way to rank up your faction is to spend 3 hours of your life trying to get materials to spend 30 seconds to a 1 minute, pressing one button.
I thought what if we had bounties like the Iron Banner. The Iron Banner has weekly and daily bounties, weekly being harder and daily being easier. For example, lets say you rep NM and are rank 24 and really want that exotic class item, but you are completely drained of all your materials. If you were pick up three weekly bounties that guaranteed a rank you then have a free rank outside of materials, crucible, and other things.
The weekly bounties could be like
Slay Atheon, Crota, Skolas, or Oryx on while wearing the faction class item.
For PvP players you could have bounties like:
Run the spark and ignite the rift two times in the same game while wearing the faction class item
Finish First place in rumble twice while wearing the faction class item.
Daily bounties could be easy little rep boosters for being super close to your next rank.
You know things like, kill 30 fallen while having an allegiance with the FWC
Capture two control points with dead orbit
Capture a relic in salvage with and allegiance with NM.
Those are quick ideas feel free to add some in the comments.
And the weekly ones could rotate weekly between the factions to better favor, strict PvP or PvE players so they don't feel left out.
I have bounced this idea in my head for a couple days now. I put some thought into it, don't hate me.

Any well-thought out additional content is an excellent idea. Have a star, good sir! Although I agree with the other two guys that a mega package is a bit too hopeful.

I have to agree with Jim carrey.lol awesome idea for the added content but that package is a bit too much. Hopefully someone reads this and takes it to heart over there at bungie.

That is an awesome idea. Except the mega package. That seems like overkill
