Game share does not work for referees. Your daughter needs to own The Taken King on the account she is being referred on. You can read more in the FAQ: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13962
Q: Why am I being asked to purchase the game if I’ve already played Destiny: The Taken King? A: Bungie does not support console sharing features. Players must own Destiny: The Taken King under their personal PlayStation Network/Xbox Live account in order to qualify for Referee status in the Refer-a-Friend program.
• The problem is that I bought a second copy of Destiny for my daughter's xbox, I accidentally redeemed the expansion code for the new game while logged into my gamertag that already owned it. I called microsoft support for xbox one, they confirmed that I already owned it and that I added a code for the content I already owned on the same gamertag. They said that I would have to get help from Bungie or Activision to add it to my daughter's gamertag....

 • Bungie do not deal with Retail or licensing. Therefore Bungie cannot move an expansion between accounts. If Microsoft are unwilling to move the expansion to another account then your only option is to buy it for the intended account.
