Mida will be a top tier weapon on its return and I believe may be overpowered/overused for combination of these reasons
1. High caliber rounds
2. Awesome mobility
3. Built in quick-draw (allows for a body shot snipe and a quick switch to Mida to finish off the kill)
4. Forgiving above average time to kill of 0.9 with three head shots and one body shot, made easier by 90 aim assist and range limited only by awkwardness in close quarters.
5. All of its competition from year one has seen serious nerfs (hand cannons) or will see serious nerfs (pulse rifles)
6. It will be able to contend with the shifting meta (high caliber rounds will mess with snipers, when in close range has the ability to backpedal (shotguns, sidearms) or strafe away (fusion rifles) from close range specials)
7. Its fun to play with.
I am really just curious what every one thinks of the Mida and I find the conversations of what the popular/overpowered weapons will be, very interesting.
Note: I say overpowered/overused because the general perception of a weapon attributes both how the community views the power of a weapon and occasionally how Bungie explains their decisions for re-balancing. If a weapon is overused the community may believe it is overpowered which increases its use and perception of being overpowered. Bungie has a history of buffing and nerfing based upon use.

2 RepliesI like Mida and have had good times with it, yes on its return it will see far more use initially but it won't be the weapon that people will come kicking and screaming about in the forums and it won't be the new meta either, that place is already booked come the next update by a certain exotic auto rifle....
