A friend wanted to know which subclass best represents him in the Destiny universe...
He's strictly a PVE player. A damage dealer-oriented style, likes leading the assault, focusing on the toughest enemy around, very protective of his Fireteam, Armor and Recovery stats are equally highest priority in his character build.
-
Clearly defender
-
Sunsinger with radiant skin and the HOTPF
-
Such a pointless question let him decide on his own
-
Damage Dealer - Sunbreaker Protecting your team - Defender
-
He could do that with any class, they don't matter
-
Sunbreaker = Damage + Support if played right. Defender would work too though it's more on the Support than Damage spectrum.

Edited by baar: 11/30/2015 4:48:39 AMCan somebody tell me? I'm making a second XBOX acount specifically to experience Destiny again, but this time having a fuller, more "me" type of experience. I'm a guy that likes to do PvE. Whenever I do group stuff, I want to have a support role, but I still want to do good when doing solo missions. What class/subclass is best for me? Edit: I kind of want to step out of my usual warlock play style, but I still want that high recovery. Also, when I say support, I mean in general, including buffing allies and killing ads/crowd control.
-
Striker definitely. That's fearless assaulting.
-
Night stalker or bubble
-
Nightstalker if you ask me.
-
Your friend would either be Defender or Sunbreaker.
-
I think people see PvE and think Bubble.
-
Bladedancer.
-
Defender or sunsinger
-
Titan, he can do defender for support or sunbreaker for all out beast mode.
-
I'd say defender or stormcaller.
-
Either sunsinger or defender.
-
Can't go wrong with a warlock.
-
Defender is always a good playstyle for anyone to play as.
-
I was torn between sunbreaker and defender, defender at boss, and sunbreaker for those dam yellow bar majors.
-
A pve player huh? Well if he a pure dps guy, can't go wrong with a sunbreaker
-
Nightstalker, by and far. His setup will be voidwall, triple jump, black hole, vanish in smoke, courage or light of the pack, courage for an increase to armor and recovery, keeping your team alive longer, or light of the pack, for a crazy amount of supers per event, and he'll go with probably shadestep to keep himself alive. Exotic armor is Sky burners annex, and he could probably use bad juju/zhalo supercell to get his super up faster, with an MG or a sword in his heavy to help skyburners annex proc. He'd want to focus on intellect and discipline, but an argument can be made for swapping discipline out for strength. Now he can lead, defend and buff damage. All three requirements in one solid setup. Have him also focus on recovery and agility. BOOM.

I'm not sure who has been answering this poll but they're all retarded. Sunsinger is the best for your friend, clearly. Just look past that poll lol

Edited by CBOD16: 11/28/2015 8:47:17 PMI would say sunbreaker or striker. He seems like the run in guns blazing. Not sit back and support your team. Its hard to do both
-
Defender is highly useful but not a damage dealer. Sure he can buff teammate damage but that's about it. It's easily the most boring class to play.
-
Defender bubble then. Until he meets a Hammer God face to face then he's getting obliterated xD
