Why is the community so dead set on nerfs? Why is efficiency a problem in this game? I think this game updates and changes weapon meta so much because not many other devs give players a podium to speak their minds but my question to the community is why? I honestly think TTK brought the best meta to date and the December patch would be even better if no nerfs were involved. Instead of buffing AR damage 3%, why not buff it 7% and let pulses stay where they are. Most of them kill in 3 bursts (don't be that guy in the comments that home-in on this statistic, I said MOST, yes some kills lie in the 2-4 burst range but that's not the point), which is a stable amount of damage. Any less would be OP and any more would render the gun class useless.
Making guns less efficient makes the game boring. Shotguns are getting nerfed to shit, when the simple solution would've been to remove all range increasing perks and left it at that. Reducing the damage reach to the length of a Titan strike renders another gun class useless.
The handcannon buff to accuracy is much need and I agree with most of the other buffs as well. I just don't see anyone benefiting from the other nerfs being added in the game come December.
But I'm posting this genuinely, why call nerf instead of buff? Let me know your thoughts.

Okay Shotguns won't be very effective outside blink strike range. Which is quite a good distance. This allows fusion rifles to get a foot in the game on blink strike to mediumish range. It also gives breathing room for sidearms, auto rifles and hand cannons, in combination with the pulse rifle changes. When you view it all in context, not individually put into the current game, the changes seem fine on paper.
