The weapon's damage hasn't increased. It still suffers from the same low fire rate and same three-hit-kill requirement. This buff is more like... "Eh, we feel bad but can't do much else for your gun to make it competitive in our ass-backwards meta. Sorry. Have some extra range and a magazine refill."

  • Magazine refill will help. It was really stupid the way it was before. If you got a precision kill the second to last round you had a perk for a whole bullet. Kinda crazy.

    It's nice, but it doesn't solve the weapon's core problems in a meta where everyone insists on trying to melt your face off in a second with Red Deaths, Bad Jujus, shotguns, and sniper rifles.

  • Yea, it kinda does since they decided to nerf all of those guns with the exception of snipers. I still don't agree with the shot gun nerf and I'm still not a big shotgun user. They fixed the range and if you pay attention to your radar you should see someone closing in... But that's another subject

  • If the nerf is great enough to severely reduce the TTK of pulse rifles across the board, then there's bigger problems.

    I wouldn't be surprised. I really don't think Bungie knows how to balance this game. It's like the cliché in every time travel movie. Every time they go back to fix something they mess up sometime else
