Yawn.
With the exception of say, the calcified fragments... I refuse to give YouTubers or twitch streamers views. Views=money=get of your arse and get a real job and get out of your mother's basement.

As far as the IRS is concerned, they're working in entertainment, which pays money for work (It's a job)

Edited by Ryan506078: 11/17/2015 4:08:35 PMSaying YouTube and twitch aren't real jobs means that your job isn't real either. Based on what you're saying, I can say your job is not real because it isn't (assuming you have one, making that comment). Sorry you hate your job, Hun, but some people get to work AND be happy? Awww, does that bother the wittle forum goer? TLDR: Shut the -blam!- up

I fix medical equipment that saves people's lives. I like to think I contribute to society, the people saved by said equipment I would assume agree. Sitting on your arse playing a video game is in no way a job nor does it benefit anyone other than those who have figured out how to extort money from morons who enable the laziness. You must be either one of those said clever extortionist (or beggars, however you want to look at it) or an enabler to take such offense.

Cause your totally the most important person in the world.

Edited by DarkOcean72: 11/17/2015 10:02:51 PMGet over yourself man. Would you consider actors or T.V. personalities jobless? Or what about professional athletes jobless? No, they provide entertainment, which is exactly what Youtuber's and streamers do. Edit: just saw one of your comments to someone else, there is nothing special about Clint Eastwood, he's just some guy on the screen. Nothing special about Chris Rock, he's just some guy up on stage telling jokes. If you can't see this, you're just blind or in denial.

Nice job but he makes ppl happy and he is doing what he loves to do ..don't be salty that's he's making money in a way he'll be happy ...IMO that's a job to me ..

Mkay. So what about entertainment industry? That's what YouTube/Twitch is, no question. So radio hosts/comedians/actors etc aren't really jobs? Are you 5? Please, get off your high horse. Fixing medical equipment. According to your logic: You don't have a real job unless you contribute to society. Soooooo... Salesmen? Programmers? Desk jobs, basically? Please. Stop being stupid, for once. Muted for ignorance Have a nice day being depressed and not doing what you want with your life

Coming across rude, using mature terminology whilst in an immature manner isn't the best way to make your point (which you had, until you went on the attack).

Edited by Striker93175: 11/17/2015 4:25:58 PMLogic prevails and you know you can't win an intelligent discussion? Mute them. Look at who's calling the kettle black with the age/maturity comment here. Projecting much? Bottom line is we're not talking about Clint Eastwood, Chris Rock, or Howard Stern here. We're taking about an every day schmu... Person... Who you and I both know are going to be playing their video games anyway. Akin to the beggar on the street asking for a handout while calling it entertainment. There is a huge, huge, difference.

They do it for entertainment of others and they enjoy it ergo an actor or a sports person doesn't jave a real job either?

those names you listed were regular people until someone paid them and made them professional.
