Currently, there is every type of weapon in the raid and osiris but sidearms (and swords, but the swords are so similar). I looked in the armory, and there is none. I think that sidearms in these two activities should be added. What about you? (Bump this to bring this to Bungie's attention)

1 ReplyPretty late to the party but here's my thoughts: The majority of people are not good with sidearms since they need to aimed and timed just right in order to get consistent kills. Most people assume a fusion rifle or shotgun is a much better choice. They're wrong, but then again...they can't aim for shit anyways. I recently obtained The First Curse and have been spending time with it. It is easily my favorite hand cannon, but it lacks in the close range department. Enter: Havoc Pigeon. I can kill shotgunners, fusion riflers, and even some supers! (Ignore my make believe vocabulary) Running a ranged primary is always a risk in pvp. There are so many people that run a rushing type of setup and that makes it difficult to shine in close range encounters. Sidearms keep the attackers at a mild distance while also doing massive damage in a very short burst of trigger pulls. Tl;dr-- Sidearms are designed to aid long range primaries like Mida Multi Tool, The First Curse, and most pulse rifles. It's just sad how many people use them incorrectly.
