Refer-a-Friend
After this update is deployed, some of the more tech savvy among you will be able to dig up some details for a new initiative we have planned to arrive just in time for the holiday season. We’re planning something new to recognize and reward the Sherpas among you. We are calling it Refer-a-Friend. Maybe you have a friend who will be getting Destiny as a gift this season. Perhaps their gift-giver will even be picking it up for them at a holiday sale coming to a store near you. If you intend to show them the way to the mountaintop, we’ll have new rewards aimed at recognizing your service to the Kinderguardian.
- Cozmo Bungie...what are you doing? This is a very Comcast-esque of you (hence why I put that photo at the top). Let's analyze this a bit. Does it scream Desperation or Innovation? Sorry but I'm going to have to say desperation. We are well aware that their number for how many players actually play has been twisted to sound like it's more than it actually is. There's really no way of knowing, but using logic one is able to understand its low when they twist words around. Knowing this, and seeing the number of our friends actually playing destiny go down, it makes sense that they'd bring this sort of thing forward. But you know what's weird? I haven't seen this in a video game before. I did I quick search however and saw that League of Legends had something like this, and so did Knights of the old republic. However, this is just weird. *cough*moneygrab*cough* Cool, Bungie will give you rewards, but this... "Hey man! You should get destiny." "Why?" "I don't know, just get it." "Ok." "heeheeheeeeee...." This part of the update made me laugh because it's just weird. We've got tons of guardians crying for fixes to the systems that are broken, while Bungie not only goes at a snails pace, but is actively working on increasing player numbers. I'm disappointed to say the least. Stop boasting and focusing about the "numbers" of players you have, and start helping this game be better for the people who actively play it. (No, I don't play it anymore, but I want it to be better for all of you!) Bungie I really want this game to be amazing but come on...save this stuff for after fixing the big issues. Honestly, I hope they give any of you who do this some really good rewards like silver and glimmer and whatever else it is you guys might need. Hell throw an emblem and a shader in there while you're at it, really show your appreciation for your fans that have stuck around Bungie. Or maybe it's a neat innovative way (for Bungie) to capitalize on your friend's mistake! Oops I mean purchase! Sorry for my cynicism guys, anyway please weigh in on what you think. Any opinion is welcome (except for insulting). If you agree or disagree say so in the comments below, or post what you think about this. - N7 Edit: THE MOST VALUABLE FRIENDS ARE THE ONES THAT GET YOU DESTINY REWARDS Edit: STOP PUTTING YOUR REFER A FRIEND ADVERTISEMENTS ON HERE. I will report you every time and it's getting really annoying.

If they want to keep/get more players, all they have to do is make a better product... Y'know, the Destiny game we've been waiting for over a year to play. Enough of this content designed around grind and RNG, add actual content, fix things people actually want, add the things people actually want... O ya, and screw off with the time locked content and weekly lockouts...
