Now as all of us know, there is no loot system in destiny, its 100% completely fycklng random. This is very bad for the players and the game. I find myself seeing more reasons not to play this game or not even try I crucible even though Im on of the best I the world, Im a crucible god believe me when I go bam, bam, bam and drop three dudes without missing a shot and I end up on top every time with most kills, best k/d and I play the objective and yet people in last get perfect roles on legendries over and over. I saw a noob with 1600 grimoire have a red spectre with focused fire, counter balance and appended magazine which brought it up to 44 rounds. I have a red spectre and the recoil is bad so the focused fire and counter balance make a HUGE difference. Bungie needs to add even the simplest of loot systems, but right now there isnt so here's my thoughts. Please keep in mind these are just some simple thoughts Ive had, nothing too fancy but at least something. Crucible: Make it so only players in 1st or 2nd on the winning team are guaranteed a reward (at least a mote, coin or blue engram), able to get legendries (engrams or weapons) and only able to get more than 1 mote or coin. People I 3rd, 4th and 5th are able to get only 1 mote or coin. Everyone from 1st-5th are all able to get blue engrams/blue items. People in 6th don't get anything. If any player in in any place or winning or losing team gets a yellow medal (besides mercy medal because its team based) they are guaranteed a very good reward, in my opinion 10+ motes/coins, a legendary, maybe even a chance for exotic, + large amount of glimmer. Its not very often someone gets a yellow medal in a game unless their highly skilled or get lucky. Also maybe Bungie could make some sort of a streak system like you get when doing strikes except like this. In strikes you can get a max streak of x3, so in crucible you could do the same so when you win you get +1 streak and when you lose you get -1 streak up to a max of x3. Strikes: (I dont really like strikes because Ive done them hundreds of times so I stop doing them but here are some ideas) After you do a certain strike a certain amount of times you are guaranteed a strike specific item (not any enemy type based weapons only that strike specific, if some of you didn't know some weapon are enemy specific such as imago loop only in vex strikes) For the weapons that are dropped based on the enemy type you are fighting they should drop after you've done a certain amount of that type of enemy strikes. I don't have data on the strikes for amount of completions, time average, times in rotation those types of things so its hard for me to say how many strikes you should do before you get some loot but if I were to say it would be 10 strikes for both strike specific loot and enemy type specific loot. Grimoire: Now a lot of you are probably wondering what the hell when I bring up grimoire but I've thought of an idea. I'm one of the players who seeks the grimoire and wants the max which right now as of 11/8/2015 is 4795, I have 4785. Grimoire is the number below your name next to the 3 little cards for those of who might not know or who are new. You get more as you beat certain enemies, certain amounts of kills, finding dead ghost, calcified fragments, etc. You can check your cards on your characters page here on Bungie.net to see all of them and their descriptions, there also a very good check list over at destinytracker.com/ . Now some of these cards you can no longer obtain such the house of wolves targets, only year one players could have gotten them which bring me to my point. Grimoire helps determine veteran players from the noobs and could be a great part of the loot system to keep BS drops from happening. I think Bungie should add your grimoire to the loot system because of this, now a lot of you probably don't want to go hunt down all the ghosts and scrap up every bit of grimoire and that not exactly what I'm saying. In my opinion 4000 grimoire means your an average veteran player and below is noobs or veteran who didn't play every type of activity. I think Bungie should make it so theres 4 ranks: Rank 1: 0-2995 Rank 2:3500-3995 Rank 3:4000-4495 Rank 4:4500+ Rank 1 players have very low chances of getting good loot, 50% Rank 2 players have lower chance of getting good loot, 75% Rank 3 players have normal chance of getting good loot, 100% Rank 4 players have greater chance of getting goo loot, 125% Now when I mean good loot I mean thing like legendries, motes, coins, maybe even better engrams drop chances and perk roles. You may be thinking rank 4, 125% is unfair but not really, we deserve that loot for playing this game a lot and being good at it compared to a noob shooting the wall and yet still have the same drop chances as we do and 125% isnt too much. This is a good way of balancing the loot system to fix the issues of the game not being able to tell apart a noob from a veteran. Raids: I'm not going to do a raids part because there's simply too much to them with light level, times beaten, grimoire, etc. Keep in mind this is just a post covering simple ideas on what to do so they should fix the somewhat smaller things first. These are my ideas and opinions and I feel like some of them should be used or at least slightly implemented by Bungie because I know I am not the only one sick and tired of trying hard and getting nothing in return. We veterans have stuck through a whole year of Bungies BS and waiting and I think we deserve something for that. Please leave a comment or at least a click on the pole so I can know some of your ideas and/or opinions on my thoughts and ideas, I really want to know. I hope that this can get Bungies attention they can fix these problems so please leave a comment so that it can happen because I know others would like to see it too just as much.
