I'm seeing so much salt over this topic and I want to know why people are saying Destiny is still going to be better than Destiny or that Fallout isn't going to "Kill Destiny".
You can't kill Destiny
Edit 1: So much salt over Fallout not being out..
I love it
Edit 2:
The tears of the aching give me joy
Destiny: -No clear or coherent story. TTK did better, but built off an almost nonexistent story from vanilla. Almost everything you need to know is in the Grimoire - which isn't even in the game. -Small "open-world" experience. 2 small social zones, 5 maps that aren't that large or have many secrets, all of it re-used constantly for grinding. -Straightforward leveling with no real branching. Apart from jumps, some nades, and Supers all classes feel the same. -Without repeating content, only about 20-30 hours of gameplay to complete everything once. Lengthy gameplay hours comes from grinding same content repeatedly. Fallout 4: -Storytelling with dialogue and choices in the game itself. -Large world with 100+ caves, towns, buildings, etc. to explore and loot. -Excellent leveling system with 70ish unique perks you can choose from, each with multiple levels (adding up to about 280 total). -Main story likely 20-30 hours, side content (missions, activities, collectibles, settlent building, mod support) adding up to 100+ extra depending on person. Destiny is a good game. But repeated content being run over and over grinds on you after a while. I'm personally done until we see the next DLC with its price and amount of content. Until then, I'll be enjoying my time in the Commonwealth. And nothing will "kill" Destiny. People will keep playing it for quite some time, which is their choice. Others will grab a new game and move on for a while, coming back at the next DLC as well.
