true some, *cough*eragon movie*cough* can be compared. but this is like pinning to kill a mocking bird up against transformers, they're hardly related and in the case of movies against books, books can have as much as the author feels like having the reading lug around with them and movies are restrained by production costs and how long the movie can run. off topic but-(apparently the longest movie ever made runs for 720 minutes?! dam thing runs 30 days! Might just as well be a show!) Anyway, will the book normally be better than the movie? Usually yeah, you get a fantastic story and learn a few things. but also no. In the event you want something with more action than story *cough*transformers 4*cough* you'd want to give your poeple something they can see and connect better to, but again, lack of story do to run time and production costs.
