I second the stupidity of the no knight strategy. If you do not understand the normal way to do it it is likely because you get behind on killing your knight. This is easily remedied by asking the party to show you exactly which Tar Pits the knights spawn from (they have red health bars).
I have personally found it to be the easiest as such:
1-2-3 (dynamic) platforms, #4 is assigned for bomb detonation positioning purposes and is the responsibility of someone "in the center"
[i]Optional: Fixed (static) platforms where the 4th orb platform guy runs to assist in the center
[/i]Bubble titan w/ ToM and Blessing in the middle along with the #4 platform person

The titan and #4 mow down ogres (drop your bubble when the slams the platform in the center of the room) and unload that last repeating bullet into the ogres - and you too #4! Get that shield to keep blasting - the ogres will go down just fine.
People on the platforms are in charge of your knight. That's your only job aside from detonating the bomb later. #4 and titan in center focus on knight 4.
After stunning Oryx DO NOT IMMEDIATELY RUN, kill adds for about 8 seconds or so and then call "bomb" for everyone to run out and detonate and return. You know the rest of the drill.
Easy. As people get better gear no knight will die. I've done both - legit is easier truthfully - when people can get over themselves enough to ask to be shown where the knight spawns and for people who reply to not be aholes about it.

Edit: actually the knights spawn after ogres get downed, but the runner basically gets the relic and ogres spawn in that order and after the relic holder steals the aura.. You'd usually get ready for oryx after downing the vessel, killing the knights is pretty -blam!-ing impossible in terms of TIME, because time is the most important part of all this.. Not killing the ogres until after oryx gets staggered for blights makes it so easier, stagger , kill + detonate And knights don't even get a chance to reverse detonate because you'd be detonating before they even start their bs, they get wiped out along with all the other mobs

The window for killing the knight that spawn and Oryx about to open up is so -blam!-ing small, the knights spawn as Oryx gets in position to slam his fist down so killing the knights is one thing but you also have the vessel which is a major which pretty much takes the whole team to down him asap. Staggering Oryx THEN killing your Ogres is a better way than "playing by the rules" because knights can't eat what they don't have and they would only spawn after Ogres are down, meaning the blight gets detonated before they even get a chance to haul ass to the orb, do their animation (which takes a bit of time for them to eat the blight) which means they'd not have enough time to destroy your shit lol You're a scrub if you complain about this, because this is logically the best way to kill Oryx, it's not like this is a step by step fight, getting your blights to appear can be done before or after you stagger Oryx
