I remember getting into discussions with quite a few people regarding how these micro-transactions being in the game were just the start of something very bad. That it was a slippery slope we would start heading down, and that TTK had just come out for $40 and they were already squeezing more money. The response I got from a lot of ya'll was that we were going to be getting future DLC for free so that makes it worth it. Let's wholeheartedly accept these in the games because it means free other stuff. I tried to reason with ya'll saying that Bungie never actually stated that it was from a Kotaku article and that Bungie's verbiage in the news release left them an out so that when they did start charging for DLC they could fall back on, "we never said DLC would be free". I got called a lot of names and said that I was just being paranoid and finding reasons to hate on Bungie. This has happened a lot with things Bungie has screwed us over on. The defenders seem to always just change their stance whenever they are found to be wrong. So my questions is that now we know that there are going to be paid DLC and micro-transactions and it's too late to do anything about it, what is your latest stance? Like what way do you have to justify what Bungie is doing now? (can't use, well they have to make money)
